Taaaaaaaa Daaaaaaaaaaa ! Introducing ...
You all YANKIN MY CHAIN ? Come on ... with all that I've been thru with this bird ? A HEN ? I've been calling him the LITTLE BOY or the Little Man for 10 months now. Oh Man ... ! It kinda of makes sense in some ways. Why the "TOO FAT TO FLY Hen " is always kickin the Weebils butt & chasing him away from her food & has complete control over the cage. She is pretty mean to HIM ! I'll try & get a good close up of his cere & then post a link on this topic for any of you who want a closer look in LARGER Size. Poor Weebil ... Sexual Identity Crisis or what ?

Budgie In The News
This guy should have told his Boss that the bird was his SEEING EYE BUDGIE ? Who can refuse to allow a man his Budgie Guide Bird ? The Disabled Societys would be all over that Boss Man for Discrimination. What is funny ... is the idea of this guy walking all over his work site. With " Muddy " making his pockets MUDDY'd. The Secutrity Man is standing in the elevator with a bunch of office workers coming & going & from outta no where .... a little chirping comes from his pocket. (Laughing out loud) .... too funny. People standing in the elevator next to him wondering where that soft bird chirp is coming from ? I am impressed with his dedication, care, concern & love for this bird. It is a cute little thing !

Blood Feather ... Or A Breakage
Well ... so far so good. She is continuing to act like nothing happened. She isn't nursing it. So I am beginning to stress less. Man ... I can't believe the gray hair I am getting from owning 2 birds that are less then 6 inches long each. My next pet will be a rubber chicken. Less stressful. I can leave it & go on trips & not worry about feeding & water & cleaning the poopers from the bottom of the cage. And rubber chickens are more quiet. Compared to the Weebil ... it would be a great change. Why ... WHY DO THEY MAKE US LOVE THEM SO ??????????????

Taaaaaaaa Daaaaaaaaaaa ! Introducing ...
Finally got a Camera. I haven't got the kinks ironed out of it yet. I love freaking the birds with it. They don't seem too impressed by it all. (Laughing out loud) How can something this small have such a BIG MOUTH ? Not the Best Pics. But it's better then me trying to draw a picture of them for you.

Desperate Cock Attempts To Mate With Owner's Fingernail
Erin ... quit making them " kissy kissy " smoochies to Georgie. And lose your feather earrings ... perhaps put your hair in a hair net & not have any feathery waves in it. You are just one big sexy Budgie Chicky to the Boy ! Oh ya ... don't be eating any hard boiled eggs in front of him either. YOU TEASE YOU ! ( on a serious note ... I have heard many people tell me their male budgies spit up & want to LOVEEEEEEEEE with them ) It's normal. It's fun to pick up spit & gruel seeds out of your hair & off your clothes. Nothing to worry about. You don't need to call a Lawyer yet & file for divorce from Mr. Erin. No need to set up a Budgie Pre-nup. Georgie boy will lose his interest soon.

Blood Feather ... Or A Breakage
Can a budgie pinch or squeeze a blood feather without breaking it completely ? Without it dripping blood ? Just showing that the area is damaged a little ? My Hen ( who's too fat to fly ) ( cause she's wing clipped also ) Decided to go for an adventure & "PLOPPED" down on the floor. She hit the carpet with a thud like a rock & hurt her wing. She babied the wing & checked it off & on for an hour or more fluffing & preening. So I checked her over & I noticed a few small feathers under her upper wing were red in a small area. It looked like there was blood in the area. But not dripping blood. Nothing is broken. That was 3 days ago. Much to my dismay my trustworthy Avian is on a Vacation for 2 weeks. So there is nobody I can see about this. In the meantime ... the hen is still attempting to fly ... '' DANG YELLOW ROCK WITH CLIPPED WINGS '' She seems to be perfectly normal & doesn't show any distress. She is singing & playing & hopping around like nothing ever happened. When I looked at the area that I swore was forming blood, I see nothing wrong, it's clean & clear. It's like the accident never happened. She is EATING as always .... like the Salad Bar & Buffet is FREE FOR ALL ... nothing new there .... ( ALWAYS EATING !!! ALWAYS !!!!! ) So ... again Can they squeeze or pinch a blood feather ? Should I be overly worried ? Is there anything I should be looking out for ? Another week & a half till the Avians back.

Desperate Cock Attempts To Mate With Owner's Fingernail
Hey Erin ... Welcome to SPRING TIME in CANADA. Love is in the Air ! And apparently all over your hand as well. You are Mr. Georgie's Hormonal Replacement Plan of the Moment. You show him love & attention & he is showing you HIS way of loving YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUU ! Get him a fake budgie that he can do the nasty with in his cage. That is if you don't want him regurgitating all over you. Otherwise ... feel glad he is blessing you with his passion & love.

The New Addition
I think he's a beauty. But I agree with Michelle ... he's a tie-dyed budgie ... new strain & breed. You sure you didn't let a kid get a hold of him when they were playing with some acrylic paints ? What are you going to call him ? Joseph of the Amazing Technicolor Coat ?

Get My Budgies To Talk
Hi dossie ... good for you getting a new budgie or budgies. It's always better to just get ONE budgie & a male if you want him to be your talking tame little friend. Talking can happen in a short period of time but it depends on how much time you spend with him. Placing his cage beside you at the computer or where ever you spend most time is helpful. Then talk to him. Repeat the same phrase or word over & over. The first thing my male budgies all learned to say was " WHATCHADOIN ? " I didn't realise I said this to them often. But then they were always doing something odd & funny so I often asked them whatchadoin ? I've heard that budgies like womens voices more & will respond more to a woman. I don't know if this is true. All my male budgies have talked for me when I was the only person in the house. Pay him attention & fuss over him & act like a fool & talk to him. ALOT ! They love it & will respond. But as I said ... a male & only one bird is your best bet. No mirrors in his cage & no other bird for him to be friends with. Good luck.

- Today ... I Kissed An Angel
Thank you Una ... I appreciate when someone sees the more sweeter side to my tender heart. I will continue to smooch away while whispering sweet breathed donut nothings in her little budgette ear.- Today ... I Kissed An Angel
Thanks Norm ... May the bird of Happiness Drop something large & messy on your head !- Budgie Handling
Great demo Chryso ... They are great holds. Gentle & in control ! That's the key. I was more impressed with Squee being so calm ... (Laughing out loud) ! She is too sweet. Actually I was reading Squee's body language & she was cursing a blue streak at you for making her do this. Wait to you go to sleep. She will get revenge !- My Boids Is Being Picky !
The last week & a half I've noticed my birds have been ignoring their veggies I give them. They are not interested in them at all. They are not even interested in the latest fresh container of egg/fruit/pellets either. They are fine with their seeds as usual. I am a little curious what might bring this on. It's Spring here now & they are both in a mild molt. Could that be part of it ? I keep offering goodies with hopes to see them change their minds. Any ideas ? Please & thanks.- Birdie Bath Time!
Awesome Feathers ... what a beauty he is .. dry or wet ! I love watching them bathe.- Today ... I Kissed An Angel
HECK NO ! I am beginning to LOVE MY SOFA now ! It's close to the refridgerator & if theres nothing to munch in there I like ... I run down to the donut shop on the corner. Then I can stay up late & have the remote for the TV all to myself & no one tells me to " TURN THAT OFF ! I WANT TO SLEEP " ... I got it good. Even if my back aches a little. YUP ... It's like being single again ... sort of.- Feather Town Breeding
Congrats Grandma Budgie ! Will be looking forward to the hundreds pictures of the Grand budgelbubblettes ! ( Budgelbubblettes <------ " noun " ? Verb ? Adjectively nounish ? ) My newest word for baby bald jellybean brain budgies ) NOTE : Not to be confused with Budgeables. Thats a whole different Budgie there !- Maybe Saying Good-bye To A Beautiful Boy!
Great big SIGH of relief there Feathers. Nice to hear he made out well.- My Flock
hi Lea, & Welcome to BBC. Your birds are lovely ... I love the colors are markings. I look forward to seeing more pics of your birds. Enjoy the BBC !- I Can't Draw Or Paint,
I AM GOB SMACKED ! That is amazing Maesie ... & I just thought you were another inside outty pretty face. I loved the details. The stand up lamp in the lounge. The baby highchair in the dining room the mop & bucket in the garage. Pictures or paintings on the walls & even a vase with a flower in it on the dining room cabinet. And a bathtub & separate shower. You made this doll house a Better Homes & Gardens Luxury Edition 2008 Mom & Dad in bed & ignoring the kids after being naughty .... with their shoes on ! What was missing was the budgie in a cage. But I suppose I can forgive that little slip. It's too beautiful. DON'T GIVE IT TO THE BABY TILL SHE'S 21 & WILL CHERISH IT ! - Today ... I Kissed An Angel
