The Saucy Face rings this darn toy bell ...... all day long. The (girlfriend) G/F took it away from her one day because she was suffering from a migraine & couldn't stand the noise any longer. Saucy was miffed & started to chatter angrilly at the G/F & then she flew over to a large wicker basket we have full of toys & immediately found another bell to ring. These dogs look so bored & sad & sleepy. I love them. Good watch dogs. They will watch who ever robs your house & yawn while doing just that. They are really smart that way !

Thank you everyone, for your kind words. Its hard to believe she is gone. I've been joking about her for so long & wishing I could find her a happy place in life, an aviary with other birds where she could kick butt & scream in horror & scare all the other budgies might have been an ideal place for her. Now I wonder if she was sick for a long while & her crazy nasty actions were part of her growing tumor. She certainly wasn't herself for a long while. I thought it was because she was ready to mate & frustrated there was no male to mate with. I miss her. I missed her all day. The house was horribly quiet here without her. The Saucy Face didn't think twice about her as she played & carried on & did her regular Saucy Face thing. Sad the Saucy didn't blink an eye to her little friend being gone.

The Weebil has been very miserable as of late. She complained & complained about everything & avoided Saucy Face & stayed on a lower perch alone for a few days lately. Although eating & drinking as usual. She looked a little down & out on Thursday morn & I placed her in the Hospital cage after checking her out. She had a huge, hard mass on her neck & back near the shoulders. It was hot & solid & when I touched it she bit at me & grumbled angrilly. I took her to the Vets. Xrays revealed more of a mass deeper inside then could then could be detected by touch. She was really miserable & in pain. She had to be put to sleep. It was sad to let her go. I kissed her & held her in my hands & told her I loved her. She was typical Weebil to the very end. She bit the beegeezus outta my hands. It's sad to see her go with all she's been thru. She is the nastiest meanest messed up Budgie I ever knew. I don't think I will ever forget her screams & the training we endured together. But I miss her already & it seems less of a home without her. May you Fly Free & Far Weebil. I'm sure there are Eagles out there that will hear your call. YOU sound just like them !

Thanks for the info Throwback. I don't breed my birds so I wouldn't have seen that post unless pointed to it by curiosity. Good to know. I will ask a few friends who do breed whether or not they have heard of this. It might be inportant to them !

So, Mr TB ... a question for you. What do you use the Bee Pollen for ? I know it is a natural antibiotic & good for human use. Is there some budgie ailment that you specifically treat with the pollen ? Inquiring minds gotta know !

I can't wait for the first cold snap to hit us in Toronto. I am already sick of the heat & nice weather. GIMME SOME SNOW ! I want to eat real food. Not just cool salads & sandwiches. I want stewwwww ... & roasts & chicken. BBQ's don't excite me.

The ''STANKY'' boy needed a bath. BADLY !!!!! I couldn't stand the smell of the 800 birds & poop smell he had on his feathers from the huge amount of birds he's lived with from the start of his wee life. I was fairly surprised when he jumped up on my hand from the cage & crawled up my shoulder & was led easily away into the kitchen. He had a serious drink of water & then had a dip in a lovely cool dish of lettuce & cool fresh water. I kept putting him back in ... he STINKSSSSSS ! I think he still smells. He is eating pellets & some seeds & looking bright & chipper today. He even sang a little for me. Hand taming is not a problem with this new boy. He is amazing ... Young & fearless the baby's. My God Brat (MISS CHEETO QUEEN, age 2 going on 30) has named him Spanky the Spangle. So be it. She is delighted he has already sat on her finger & looked her in the eye & chirped. Then he crawled up her arm & rested on her shoulder. She is head over heels in love with him. How could she not be ?

Nope ... sigh, I never saw Nemo. I actually saw him in a Sushi Restaurant once ... but he wasn't looking too happy at being the main course. I suppose I will have to get the dvd, won't I ?

He does look like Poppy FGM, a Blue Spangle. Very Nice. I can only hope he grows to look as beautiful as your bird.

Not looking to breed him. I just want a bird I liked with the colors that I liked & a male. I don't buy budgies. I get offered "rescues." I thought it time I get a nice one of color I want. I went hoping to get a Canary. But they are all molting & mating up a storm so its not a good time for them. Nice breeder though. He has EVERYTHING ... finches, java rice birds, love birds, tiels, doves, canaries of every size shape & color. Little mini tiny doves ... so cute ! Kak's, of a few sizes & breeds & colors. Amazing find close to home. I wanted them all !!!!!! We'll see what comes.

He still has some baby bars on his noggin, some black on the tip of his beak, a big ole white spot on the back of his noggin. I will call him '' LANCE ROMANCE ! '' or '' SIR HUMPSALOT ! '' or '' Cheeto's ''... which was suggested by my 2 year old neice. Cause Cheeto's is her very very favorite snack ever. And she won't share them with me. Darn kid. They're my dang Cheetos in the first place. More pics to come. He is nervous & trying to mellow out now.

I just searched a cookery site called Cooks.com & they have tons of recipes for Mississippi Mud. Actually there are several Countrys & States, towns & more that have the chocolatey gooey mud cakes as their recipe. I don't care who makes it ... I just wanna eat it.

Ah ... How did you dispose of the little sparrows ? I know you are protecting your birds & all. But I hope disposal isn't what I think it sounds like ! Bird Murder ? Please tell me NOOOOOOOO !
