  3. one time after Bing had had his carrot, his poos went very watery with virtually just urine coming out, but after about 15 mins he was fine...
  4. mabye molly's only "PRETENDING" to eat them

my bird took about 2 months too even actually acknowledge his balls as toys, he was so scared of them when i first put them in the cage, but i also gave them to him when they were out of the cage, start a few metres away from their cage, start playing with the ball allowing the bell in the ball to ring loudly, slowly get closer and closer and they shouldn't be as scared... good luck
  7. you could try putting him in a room that you frequent in like the main room of your house, it takes alot of patience when you get a skittish budgie, my budgie has a very nervous tempremant, and it has taken me a very long time to get him semi tame (7 months) and he has only just started to come around recently, just keep persevering and even if he is scared keep trying new things with him and experiment, also mabye a wing clip would be good so he is more reliant on you?? taking him out of the cage and perching him on your finger while talking to him will be very good at getting him to know that you're not going to hurt him... good luck
  8. i do bodyboard and do take photos from in the water, but this day i took them from the goyne out on the beach, you get a better angle and its easier to focus
  9. okay, thankyou for the help
  10. the only problem with that is that he doesn't even acknowledge the rings at all, just goes for the bell...
  11. woah! overload of things! but im glad you and everyone else ended up fine in the end :hap:
  12. aaawwww **** i recently got one of the all-weather camera's, but i guess i cant complain as i was looking for a cheap, first camera for all conditions as i use it for surf photography but also other things like taking photos of Bing , the reason i got it was because it is the cheapest underwater camera out there, doesnt have a big bulky extra case to take it into the water and it does take reasonbly good photos, i have the 790 sw model and have a few images to show you how it performs... it's good for outdoors... and close-ups... and good at capturing colours... i would just like a larger amount of optical zoom (mine has 3x) but i would have to pay AU$500-600 for the next one up with 10x optical zoom and 10mp? or 12? and thats way to much for a 15 year old to afford... (or is it :hap:) i cant remember and also, the more megaixels does actually improve the image quality as it has more pixels to show every detail, its better to have a camera with several hundred pixels than having like 500 (just an example) isn't it?
  13. quick Q that ties into the topic, should i remove Bing's olympic rings, it has a bell on it that is not reflective ut he is obsessed with it and spends all his time talking and banging it... it's not very social... any tips?
  14. i'd say girl, about 4-6 months of age Congratulations!!!
  15. Thanks for the update Magic Lady, i just realised he looks exactly like merlin's baby photo!! (Elly's Budgie) EDIT: I just realised Elly already mentioned that sorry
  16. glad to here Blue is doing well ive got that rope perch that only has one connector, i put some wood skewers down the middle of it to give it some support as it just flops and wasnt very useful

they look great! im jealous! they have great colours and you must have a great camera to capture those colours
  18. hi, welcome, does your budge have splayed feet??? it looks very awkward as to how he sits
  19. he is a yellowface type 1 blue :budgiedance: and very handsome at that! :budgiedance: my budgie Bing is a yellowface type 2 blue he is very similar to yours but after his first moult the green runs through the body and he also carries opaline
  20. well i always have a treat in my hand when he is out but he never flys to me, hes never actually flown to me to be with me he only flies to me because im the only perch and great landing pad but never wants to be with me, i put him on my shoulder and give him millet and talk to him, he stays for 30 seconds then flies away
  21. Dnn Dnn Dnnnnnnn!!!! well i have hear a picture of Bing's cere, i think he is a boy but i can't be sure and thought i could do with some expert opinions (you guys) so what do you think?? there is a little bit of brown either side of the cere and abit of flaking (possible scaley face?) but the top is a deep purple... very confusing dont mind the pin feathers he's just starting his second moult P.S Bing is around 6-7 months old
  22. also if you have an iso setting that you can change, the higher the iso setting, the easier it is to get clearer shots, however the quality gets alot worse when you get up to the 1000 an 1600 range. also if your camera has scenes (like mine) you can use the sport scene to capture fast moving objects, as budgies heads move very fast, or you could show us a video??
  23. well i know Bing can fly as when i was first training him he would get very scared and circle the room before landing on his cage, and he has never been clipped, but it seems that he hates it and really dislikes having to fly, he will only fly if he feels threatened and wont ever like fly from place to place, i know its only been 5 months but he still isnt very adventurous and doesnt explore very much and i would like him to be worry free and not scared but it is never going to happen if he doesnt even try
  24. well, i've noticed that Bing tries to avoid flying as much as he can, he hates to do it and gets stressed and scared when he does, is this normal? because i let him out of his cage and he never flies ever! the only time he will fly is when i accidently bump his perch or something and that is all... is their a way i can make him enjoy flying or will he just always hate it? and are all budgies like this? P.S I'm not saying i don't like him as i love him he's my best friend but i just would like some info thanks in advance i know I post alot of questions and annoy the heck out of you guys
  25. id say that the cinnamon wing would be a sky blue as well and the last baby would be the same as the first two?
