i am eagerly waiting for feathers so i can see what colours i get.i would love another df spangle.i now have to wait 5 days before i get another baby hatching because she laid the 3th and 4th egg 4 days apart and number 3 hatched a day early.i hate waiting.

this is my first cabinet breeding clutch, i have breed a couple in the aviary but i never touch the babies because i thought the mother would reject them but after joining this forum i have learn alot of new things. The parents are a White df spangle and a skyblue violet spangle.There pics are in my post in the bredding journel section.

you are right,my sister visited today and i showed my babies to her and she said they were ugly.i think they are so cute.

Number 3 hatched this afternoon, it was not due to hatch till tomorrow so hopefully it will be okay.

I am probably worrying about nothing but my baby budgies bellys are swollen and have white marks in them.is this normal for budgies to look this way as babies.

i have bought all of my appliances from reconditioned whitegood shops and they are usually half the price of new ones and you get 12 months warranty. i bought my washing machine 5 years ago as a reconditioned one and it is still going good.

i am so sorry to hear that 2 little ones did not make it. i hope the rest have no problems getting out of their shells.

i suppose i am lucky, this is my pairs first round and out of 7 eggs only one is infertile.

sounds like you will be having lots of bubs if they all hatch. hope it all goes well.

that is a cute photo and the hen looks like she is happy with the little one.

If you find infertile eggs in the clutch do you remove them or leave them with the hen till all of the eggs hatched.

second egg hatched this morning so now i have 2 cute litttle bubs,i went and candled the last egg she laid and it does not seem to be fertile.

yes but they seem to be great parents.i checked the baby a little while ago and it has a full crop.

i only have one pair breeding so no foster parents but if they all hatch and she is struggling to look after them all i can handraise some. i had to handraise my last clutch from when they were a week old and they all survived.

Yeah, my first egg has hatched. it has only just hatch this morning but she has not feed it yet so i am hoping she knows what to do and looks after it.

it sounds like your boys are going to look so cute on your wedding day.
