So sorry for your loss mate. When budgies show signs of illness it is often too late. Don't blame yourself, and just remember he is now free of pain and flying free in heaven. Good luck with Lemon and I hope she's fighting fit in no time. In regards to getting another bird from a breeder. You'll need to keep the new one in another room or 5 metres away from Lemon for 30 days. This quarintine is essential for the health of the new bird and lemon. After that they can be introduced and possibly housed together. I'd be also waiting until Lemon is 100% before getting a new companion... but that is just my opinion. I also use peanut butter and never wash the traps (unless it gets really messy). If you have to wash them, don't use anything that smells too much as they'll stay clear.

News just in.... my computer has gone to 'heaven'... and I'm buying a new one. Not an apple as it's not in my price range. I'm after as reasonably priced as possible, but not dodgie.... I have no idea when it comes to this stuff so my sister's boyfriend who's a computer expert is taking me shopping... then I'll do some internet research and then we'll get one. I don't understand all the technical stuff... I just want something that doesn't break down, has lots of memory and is FAST!!!!!! My main uses include internet... mainly BBC and other stuff, emails, and designing cards and stuff... Any brand pro's and cons are welcome...

Some of you may have noticed (if I'm still loved at all ) That I havn't been on much. As well as being away for a few days... but computer has crashed for the second time in two weeks.
