  1. That's great! What a really sweet picture.
  2. Hi and welcome to you and Pippa. I hope you find lots of useful information here and remember to ask anything!
  3. Good ideas... I have just gotten rid of some mice, but I trapped them. I've also had issues with ants and I concreted my aviary>>> no more ants. I've also used polenta which has sort of worked.
  4. I love shopping... esp for my animals! It all sounds really good. Don't forget some toys too (no mirrors). As to the wing clipping, obviously it wasn't done correctly, and I'm hoping they fix it for free this time! AND they shouldn't have lectured you about it. You are being a responsible pet owner... not a bad one... Good luck with the re-clip and I'm glad he's settled in well!
  5. I love getting new supplies for a project. I'm very excited for you! Pity about the rain... although we need it. But as Daz said... it probably won't even eventuate.
  6. Great news. Not bad for a first timer!!!
  7. I won't colony breed again, for the same reasons as Deb... but the choice is yours. As to your birds... sounds good!
  8. Congrats VICKY and GEORGE!!!
  9. So sorry for your loss. :yellowhead: Miss Ollie. (((((hugs)))))
  10. Are you voluntering? :hap:
  11. That is what she has this for.
  12. I tried... :hap: I never thought of the colour thing... so much to remember!!! Can you look up some NSW clubs, or do a search for the breeder???? Maybe google it? A NSW budgie club may know who you're looking for and be able to point you in the right direction. I'm on the hunt for Tweet Tweet beginings too... Good Luck.
  13. Flyspray?!?! I'm not keen on sprays of any kind. I'd go with what you avian vet recomended Neat
  14. Yep... righto, got you! I'm still learning.
  15. That's brilliant Mark. I'm sure Spike will settle in fine. It's very normal for him to be very quite, not eat/drink much and possibly have runny poos from stress. It sounds like he's had quite a big adventure already... poor little man! I look forward to pictures once he settled in. That's great news for you both and I'm sooooo happy for you. May you both have a wonderful relationship together.

  17. What a sweet picture... esp with Dad just outside the door
  18. :feedbirds: Yeah for number 8!
  19. I have no idea how he/she will turn out, but what a spunk!!! I can't wait for more feathers... Don't forget to post us an update
  20. Awwwww, too cute everyone. I have two and it was very hard to narrow my pics down to these... This is Sammi. She my 13yr old Tabby and is a doll. This picture was taken of her relaxing on my lizard cages as the heat from their lights warms the top... This is a picture of my Central Netted Dragon, Wilbur. He walks on four legs so I presume he counts?!?! He is a few months old her and very sweet.
  21. Love the last one the best!!!
  22. They're great Liv. I have to make some more after the mice pooped and wee'd on lots of my old ones. It looks like you've got the bug now... I'm sure they'll love them all.
  23. Where did you get the 2005 from luv? My guess.. based on what Daz helped me out with my bird... I'd say NSW bird, POM is the breeder, X8... 2008 bird? and 109 would be the ring number... But, if the birds older than this year, I have no idea what the X8 means... (Laughing out loud)
