  3. We had 2 pair in a 4m x 2m avairy and had to remove the grey pair as the brown male kept attacking the grey male :mellow: Lucky we will have 3 avairies going soon.

  10. I bought one like that for my Mum last year and she finds it very noisy with the water going through the filter it would drive me batty I think :dbb1:
  11. A thin smear of wood glue and a small piece of spare eggshell. If it was just a crack then you would use liquid paper and brush it over the crack. Wouldn't the toxins from liquid paper seep into the egg?

  17. I have a pair in a flight cage at the minute and I just put down 3 sheets thickness of newspaper on the bottom of the cage and change it every second day and it's fine for them. When I use newspaper, I put down a really thick layer and as it needs cleaning I remove the top couple of layers as needs be revealing the cleaner newer layers underneath. Too easy You are very clever Kaz I usually put down 4 sheets and remove the top 2 and change it all the second day, but as you say it would be much easier to use a thicker layer

  22. They are still listing them today with the same title. What puzzles me though is that the larger cages have never been advertised as suitable for macaws but the smaller ones are???? I have just emailed the seller

  24. If they are anything like the Body Corporate where my Mum lives it takes about 3 weeks to contact all the owners of the units
