  1. Call that ones Jubba! Like that fat thing in Star wars... Jubba the hunn? Or Huttt? or something LOL!

Wow I didn't even know it was split in two
  3. Definatly a cock and definatly a dom pied He's a very pretty boy, you're lucky
  4. If she was cinnamon she'd have violet cheek patches and brown throat spots and wing markings
  5. I have many Dominant pieds (SF) with pink cere's with partly blue forming on it as adults and young birds of his age barely changing at all... It's definatly dominant and only just hitting it's first moult.
  6. You have a lovely Normal blue hen a yf2 sky cinnamon/greywing spangle hen and what appears to be a badly suffused DF spangle cock.
  7. I disagree, I'd say a Yf2 violet dominant pied and a COCK... You can also see his Iris ring coming in, confirming he's a dominant pied. He looks to be about 12 weeks of age as he's just starting his first moult.
  8. Celeste! Gorgeous name!!! How long left MB?
  9. Agree He's a Yf2 cobalt spangle. by the way, since you've already clipped all except his last primary flight feather on both wings I'd suggest you take that off also. Leaving it there may cause too much strain and discomfort on the singular feather taking the brunt of the pressure on each wing. He'll be fine without it :mallet: it also has a chance of snapping which could mean a very painful blood feather for him.
  10. Gorgeous! My partner and i looked into getting one a short while ago to hand rear... Not many people have them around here
  11. I agree with Nerwen and Elly, I say Dark green recessive.
  12. Yes it's true. if you buy surplus amounts than what your birds can eat they go "off" so to speak, the moisture gets it etc and the birds won't like it as much because it's not fresh... same as stale bread etc. I make sure mines used up within 3 week as i buy a 20kg bag
  13. I agree, looks like a cock I pronounce it se-ray
  14. Thought i'd add up a picture for you to see, he's gorgeous like your pup! :cake:
  15. Absoloutly gorgeous! My friend just picked up a Rotty X With Green eyes and a liver nose, they're stunning!
  16. Yeah, that's definatly the sucky part, even if they lie and it's not a crest bred you should still get some crests...
  17. Yeps :boogie: All blue spangles if those two are paired
  18. I'd take a guess and say she's a DF spangle,
  19. Nopes not all pure whites are albinos :boogie: You can get DF spangles, with black eyes and Iris rings... The harder to get DEC's with pure black eyes no Iris rings.... They can sometimes be confused between the two if the DF is young (before developing Iris rings) Any idea on age?
  20. I can't remember what he was bred to now, it was a pet type hen of his choice... for memory some kind of yf... he got cobalt tufteds :boogie: and mauve tufteds
  21. Great looking birds is she definatly an albino? eyes look black there too me, but maybe it's the picture ? She also has no iris rings that i can see, which I find odd for a hen with a Cere the colour of hers... How old is she? P.s. Can i have her :boogie: ?
  22. I just got a couple of quick shots :hooray: Cock #1 is the best looking... Cock#2, not so much... Cock #2 has reproduced before and made some lovely crested birds... Their parents are also still producing, but every chick comes out a grey spangle, some crested, but we don't keep them as we already have these two boys... so there's a few luckily people around perth with crested pets :hooray: Cock 1 Cock 1 Cock 2 Cock 2

Mine are looking horribly spikey also! haha some of the poor ones have a whole head of pins LOL!
  24. i get many different shaped eggs from all sorts of aged birds... many especially i find on their first clutch, i've have extremly pointed at both ends... I've had totally round like a ball, i've had oblong and large and small ones... pretty much all birds i find have different shapes... just depends on how they formed for that bird internally i think Some times the more drastic the shape i find the less likely to be fertilised, but Frangipani, the "queen" of odd eggs always manages to fertalise hers
