Warning Or Coincidence
See I read the dream as you where walking past the house and agruing... well why would you walk past the house you where living in??? Maybe you are reading it wrong, maybe you are having an argument because you did not get the house, hence why you are walking past it not into or out of it. But then I normal suck a dream reading, however I would go take a look as see how it feels

I Wish I Had An Air Conditioned Bird Room-
I am at work so all I can do is worry that the air con has broken or that it blew up or that all my birds have died while I have been at work! Oh I want to go home NOW

Lost Birds In Heat
Thanks guys, however I have been offered two other pairs of green cheeks for a good price from a breeder who heard about my loss and wants to help me out. Just need to work out where to put them at them moment!

Lost Birds In Heat
Air con seems to be sort of working, taking the sting off the breeding room. No one is really looking at breeding anyway, well outside of one cock who is just randy all the time. I knew it was hot yesterday as I brought Harley and his girlfriend inside and he came up to the edge of the cage and let me give him belly scratches and kisses which he has not done in years, poor boy was sooooooo out of sorts. Elmo got a shower but did not like it (I think it had more to do with the people showering him then the shower as I was not the one doing it)

Lost Birds In Heat
It was the hardest thing to catch the birds in semi dark and the heat to get them all in cages into the breeding room. the old old guys (like Harley) have been moved inside where the aircon will be running all day tomorrow and Elmo will be moved to a cooler room as well. Now next week it looks like we are going to hit over 40 for Mon - Wed so I am now thinging the air con was a good idea

Lost Birds In Heat
Two of my green cheeks died today due to the heat, my avairy birds look in really bad shape and while trying to cool them down one flew at me and out the avairy! So i went to Bunnings an purchased a air con! A bit of alterations and my Bird room now has an air con. not the greatest solution in the world but it will work! I just could not bear to lose anymore!

Hey yes there is, the perches around the side of the avairy are all natural and there is a massive branch running from the front at the bottom to just below this step bar thing, I used dowel perches as I could not find long enough light weight perches to put in there.

Clearing The Air
Thanks guys, it's was one of those PM that had I not had the nasty messages and comments off the board then I may have read as someone being nice and thoughtful and looking out for me, but it could also be read as negative which is why after a bit I decided to let the whole thing slide, it may never had been their intent. Thanks again

New Birds
I have been thinking along these lines, either that or plastic strips down the inside which a few people have said works well but will have to see.

New Birds
That is Snugglepot, he likes to hand on the cage if anyone comes close and does this whole head twitch thing and scream at you till you come and talk to him. he did not understand the concept of the camera he just wants me to come and talk to him

I think today he started to take a fancy to one of Pippis birds that is in my avairy but I have not had a chance to get int here and see if it's hen or a cock as I never checked when "it" came to live with me some months ago so will have to check tomorrow. But as it stands I have no free breeding cages. My two free ones have the new guys waiting to join the avairy (I want them to be a bit bigger then they are before they join their parents) and Rocky my little guy got moved from the hospital cage to a breeding box, poor Rocky has been through so much and hates me to death as at one stage I was cleaning him and up medicating him three times a day and no one but me belived that he would make it but I have not given up on him yet!

New Birds
We tried that and we where going to have to double the height of the legs, which means building them. and the saw horses came from bunnings at $20 so okay I am lazy! However the normal pair that is in there are a little tame so you say things like "on your box / in your box" and they go right to their box and i change everything over close up the cage and then they come over to see what I have put out for them so for this pair it works. In the future I am going to have to work something else out but it works for the moment Oh here is a picture of it finsihed

Because he is gay! Every female i have put him with so far she has shown no intrest in so I threw him in tha avairy and we where going to see who he picked to be his mate... he picked the other cock who has been showing no intrest in any of the hens!

New Birds
Yeah I did think about that but see my issue is bending, i have a prolasped disc in my back and could not bend at the angle required so i am going to have to risk it with the smaller door. On a side note, I got given a Princess Parrot and a Red Rump for free today today just have to work out when to pick them and also they gave me an avairy to keep them in so will have to move that and find somewhere to put it. My little bird family is growing!

Misty Says Hi
I took a stray Budgie i found attached to my avairy in it was a ino it even had a ring on it's leg. they told me that as it was not a normal green and could not be released then they would hold it for the 8 days and then it would be put down. i offered to take the bird but but in VIC and NSW you can't adopt Budgies. This is what the RSCPA in Melbourne tell me anyway
-
Misty Says Hi
it will be put down if surrended to the RSPCA. Both VIC and NSW put down budgies that are unfit to re release into the wild as they are a native! but yes the bird does need to get to a vet, even if you do take it to the RSPCA then at least it will be put out of it's misery.

I just like the greys I think the look pretty (see this is why the people who show budgies don't like me, I like breeding pretty birds! )

These are all the ones currently not in the breeding room! For someone trying to breed greys i have alot of greens!

New Birds
Thanks, one of the reasons we wanted to get them now was so that I could research like mad and make sure they where settled for the start of the next breeding season. Thanks if i do have questions I will PM you! Thanks, i really think the are pee my pants pretty and the great thing is that they are only a little bigger then a Budgie so they remind me of Budgies so much. Mum calls them my gold plated Budgies as they have gold on them and are a bit bigger and cost more :budgiedance:

Firm Poo
Not sounding great, I like there are a few poo experts here on the board maybe if you could get a photo.
