Do the people that post these photoes, think that some of us have a third eye & can see what these chicks are going to be.If you take into account what the parents are, it gives you arough idear,what they might be. The only thing that can be for sure is they are Budgies. :fingerscrossed:

By the look of the chick when you took the photo the other day,he shoulld of been put in the baby pen or have some thing in the bottem of the cage that they can hide in,if they are attacked.

Splat,when you breed live stock,there is also dead stock, As long as you are doing the right things,with your birds & I you do,there is nothing else you can do but keep moving on. All the self doubt will do nothing,just keep smileing :camera: The pr that have the clear eggs,pluck both of them clean of feathers & if you think the tail feathers are getting in the road remove them as well. :ohmygod:

I have the radio going 24/7 in the breeding room if the is a sign of feather plucking.I put in a spray of Millet,that seems to work.

You could trim a little off if you want to but be very carefull not to cut back to short. I would get a emery board/ nail file & file it back or just leave it.

Yes yoga is a great help,with streaching & breathing.

I would like to see a photo of the birds feet,I have never had to trim the toe nails on a budgie,post the photo & you will get comments of what to do.

Throw out 2 of those clear eggs & put in more nesting matieral.

Looking at the nest,they can kick the eggs all over the place,put in a icecream container & it will keep the eggs,together.

I have a seed cleaner,it is a box with ahole at the top,to fit the Vac hose & on the side a shut to pour the seed in & the Vac suckion, draws off the husks & the seed drops down.this seed is feed to the birds in the flight,the breeders get fresh seed each day.

I use the kitty litter, a mix of white hard bits & the extruded rice hulls,I put a few of the rice ones,in water to soak up abit,just before the eggs start to hatch,only say about 10 pallets,just sprinkle arouund the eggs,my nest bowls are icecream containers,I have not had a problem with hard shells. Are they haveing a dance partyin the nest if theyare damageing the eggs.

If you are fostering eggs,there is a big chance it's a DF Spangle,if you have spangles,in breeding boxes.

I look through there show point list But no DFS ring numbers, The S may be a 5. The coded rings have a number ie XY2.

Going up to the show tday we were talking about corn,there was 5 of us in the 2 fed cobs & 3 fed cobs & tins of cob,so I guess the tins of corn are okay,I will be trying it as it work out easyer to feed to the prs in the breeding cage. & to put in the blender. :sad:

Wow, huge win by Mountain. I don't remember a team winning by that much for a while. I guess Shep & Flan won a few? Yes they won 8 & 6 seconds + other placeings. They scored 486 points, for there team. :sad:
