But my bird couldn't be double factor because both nest had normals in it I ahven't even got a big because he was murdered by his adopted mother

I bred a domanint pied this year and he was really pretty, he was cobalt he had one thin stripe of cobalt on his front hardly noticeable so his whole front was white in other words and he had wing markings as normal but hardly any so most of his wings were white too, he had the cobalt on his back behind his wings though and he has some bar markings. But his parents were normal and father pied

Has he got wing markings?

He is great on his prices and postage. :happy-dancing: I have been buying off him for ages now and he goes out of his way to get what you need, for example I wanted a crop needle so he ordered me one and now i notice he has them for sale on his site. :happy-dancing:

did that to one of my special gold fish once, suck him up in one of those suction cleaners, he didn't survive the horror . Poor little thing and I felt awful. BUT as for my birds I vaccum around them they get use to it.

Plan on culling down to having about 60 birds and at the moment I have about 90 and have already culled about 60 young and old. I don't plan on buying any next year but if a good pied came along I would buy it and I am after an Alan Rowe hen and a Ray Wilson hen.

As long as I know what the background is a average one will do the job for me but you must remember I have a certain line going. BUT i would never buy a bird with bad faults I wouldn't how good it looked.

I can't think of anything maybe you should go browsing and see what you can find. Good luck What abouts some story books my kids and my grandkids love them, they love to be read too.

I mean like a long flights, two narrow in the head like pet shop birds, real short bib no spots when they should have spots, but of coarse all these faults can be fixed except for long flights but it takes for ever. But some of the above I will buy from the breeder where I BUY MY BIRDS because I know whats in the line for example that hen I won with the other day her mother is a 100% of the line I am working on and you wouldn't give a dime for her she is as plan as and small but knowing her background I put her with a bird of the same line which has been outcrossed and then put back to the same line and look what I got. There was another one that dies and she was even better and the other sister is small and nothing special yet. The father I bought from a pet shop and it was from my breeder and he gave me the pedigree and he is from line line I am working on. You see thses breeders breed between 300 and 300 birds each year and they can't keep them all so he kepps the best 2 out of each nest and the rest go. So you can buy good birds just have to be there at the right time.
