What is Melcan? do you have pictures of what your averies look like?What is your breeding room set up like?My Aviaries and breeding rooms are vary basic nothing flash but they do the job, I would love bigger and better but unles I get my own house it is never going to happen, I am really lucky for what I have.

I have learnt may things on here to many to mention and I have also learnt that I am not the only **** person on here as I think we are all. AND best of all I think, NO I am sure I have made lots of new friends on this forum. :hi:

Here in W.A. is all I know about...check your rulebook that comes with being a club member and check the standard you should have a copy of.MB as far as I know uncoded are still recorded with the breeders name because this year all my rings are uncoded but on record from BCV they are recorded in my name.Good luck you guys with the breeding, expect to see some nice baby pics soon :grouphug:

Wow Pieds, THat's all I want at the moment, I have always wanted to breed pieds but can't get any good ones and when I do disaster always strikes, like the hen biting off my 51/2 week cobalt pieds beak, She tore the whole thing off, it was horriable, so that was the end of my pieds again.

That is true, if you have a bird with loose wings put it with a bird with nice tight wings and it will improve the wing carrage. But if you have a bird that has long wings which is a bad fault you should cull that bird.

Hi there, I pay between $15 and $25 a bird, We have bought one for $50 and he is a real nice Bird but didn't through anything because he was a different line. I sold him for $15 dollars I mainly buy from the one breeder but if I do buy from others I make sure the birds have the same blood line going unless I want to out cross or start a new line up which I have a couple going. The way I look at it if you pay big money for a bird it could die tomorrow you never know. If I had the money I would maybe pay a bit more for something that will improve my stud.
