That is a good question as I have had hens that seem like they are forever in CONDITION and I have hens that come and go every month or so .... I'd like to see the answer to that too

It all depends where you live. Danish Pied is another name for recessive pieds, Continental or Dutch pied is another name for Clearflight pied. Dominant pieds are sometimes called Australian Banded Pieds. (Some people argue that there is a difference between Dutch and Continental Clearflight but they look the same) Great that is very helpful, Thanks Neville I have 3 listed and have heard of sooo many different types it was rather confusing

Deb are you able to get to a vet to get the Ivermectin ? If you are going to use detol, make sure that you dilute it? I wouldn't use it but that is me though ... I am sure that there are others out there that are more experienced in this that will be able to give you an answer or a recipe

The 100th Monkey Syndrome Apparently, in the 1950s and 1960s some scientists & researchers dropped sweet potatoes onto the beaches of several uninhabited islands. Most of the time, the monkeys on each of the island would find the potatoes and eat them. It took one younger monkey on one island to wash his potato in the water, and then the rest of the monkeys on that island did the same. Then the researchers found out that, all of a sudden, monkeys on other islands were washing their sweet potatoes. These are islands that are separated by many miles of water, so the monkeys had no physical way of communicating. They conducted this experiment several times over and came to the conclusion that at approximately 100 monkeys, the phenomenon jumped over to other, disconnected societies. Their hypothesis was that this also happens with human beings

Not necessarily. When you find batteries post a couple of pics up Full body front and back - the tail & Wings, Esp the flight area. ... If you can try and get a picture with an open wing too ( i know that i am pushing it )
