Good point there Dave. Are they in breeding Condition? Normally 3 - 4 weeks is MAX no action then take them out and try again a few months later I would advise not to breed during the summer months unless you have a breeding room that the temp can be altered -

I agree to big ... 2budgies do you actually mean flyscreen as in the flyscreen we use on windows? As a bird will chew through that with in a month if not less ....

I think it's a throwback or a half cast if you will ... Not full pet nor full show ..... As it relaxes as in picture 1 you will see the cap "blow" forward which some of my pets do as well ... But the head is a little wider and the mask a little longer then a normal pet .. That i can see in those pictures

I wouldn't cover them at all ...... The more sunlight the better Doesn't matter about the ear shot of the other birds ... UNLESS they were paired up with one of them ... Good luck

I was working at the markets on the weekend ... There were 2 stores selling budgies ... I was impressed with one .. Nice clean birds - and I even stayed a " looked at items" while she was telling the buyer the sex of the birds ... And She wasn't 100% sure on one and told the buyer that .... ( was after a breeding pair) so they chose another one ... It was a good feeling to see birds well looked after ... However the other one was filthy No Food ... No water ..... Full of poo and wost yet it had MOLDY APPLES jammed in the cage wires .... I rang the animal inspection officer people after the "Non English" speaking stall holder wouldn't listen to me ... Need less to say he understood the Ranger and the FINE THEY GOT :D

Try canary seed ( not a canary mix) it is a longer darker colour seed easy to crack and most budgies favourite seed apart from millet spray ? Her health isn't very good - The poo is the indicator their - I agree with Liv .. Feel her chest. I will be able to feel a long bone in the middle of it ... ( indicates under weight bird) Green poo with yellow urine is an internal problem. Best to check with your avain vet on this one mate ... how long has she been like this for ?? (If the liver is damaged, the organism excretes biles what leads to the dis colouration of the poo and urine. Liver problems can be caused by bacteria or viruses)

I would have to agree with the others. I have violets too They aren't a weak variety just a smaller one
