Colouring From Wet Toy - Is It Safe?
If the colour runs off it I would be more inclined to say it was a food colouring of some sort - If you can read the back of the package or find out who makes them and ask ...... I have hosed new toys and now colour has washed off it ..... ( now I think that Mine could be unsafe)

Cere And Beak Advise Please!
Hey Mate .... From those photo's I can't say that it is / was scaly face as if it was/is i can't tell at an ealry stage, I haven't had it yet ( touch wood) But I can see the difference in the photo's ... The peeling of the beak is a nutrition issue so the Anti Biotic could be helping with that .. But like I said I have no " real Life" experience with this so I will just write .. Best of luck and Bump the topic up for you

New Member
:thanks: & Welcome You have some nice birds I especially the YF grey :thankyou: However I would have to agree totally with what Kaz has said ..... about the nest boxes and young and old hen ....... But i did notice rust on the wire - which can and will lead to metal poisoning ... Also the metal pole that you are using for a perch would be better of being replaced with a natural type of perch like gum tree branches - Better for their feet and they will love and enjoy chewing the bark of it ( Bubble foot) and other problems can arise when using metal poles as perches .... sorry to dampen the welcome but not alot of people are aware of their set ups until it is shown to others ... That is how i learnt and alot of our new and long time members Can't wait to hear more about your birds, Enjoy your stay
