Oh mate .... That does look nasty - Have you clean the area yet? You can use a rather mild saline solution or a warm salt water treatment - Not 100% if you should do it prior to the vets though ... But I think ..... (think being the word) that their looks like a blood ball, like a cyst or a blood clot there? Hope this little on is okay ? Best of luck at the vets mate
