Well I checked today whilst moving him to a larger quarantine cage & he doesn't have any rings at all. He has a case of diahorrea at the moment so I'm giving him some antibiotics hopefully it will help him. A young fellow at Pet City told me that they usually remove the leg ring unless the buyer wants them left on.

Children! Behave! Do I have to get the whip out?

Roger hatched 13-5-2006 - Happy 6 week Birthday!! I let him out for a fly today: gosh that was hard! better rest for a moment and be cute: where can I go next?: gosh this air is hard to fly through! (hehe, it's a window): I think I can, I think I can: I think I'd rather look at this gorgeous budgie instead!:

HJ, Roger & the able bodied Lutino are the only survivors. The youngest died when HJ & Fred were fledging - I think all the jumping in & out of the box he didn't stand a chance. Fred (Rogers lookalike) died last week & Froggy (splayed leg lutino) died lunch time Tuesday.

Yuck to us but just natural to them.

You could be lucky and they might retain it. I have a line of budgies where the first born from each generation tame themselves. Actually Boris' half sister is pretty tame too and she has never been handled.

They are beautiful Daz! I am such proud grandmother!! Are you selling the Albino? If you are I will buy him for sure! I am incredibly desperate for large Albino males!!

The first guy I have named Monster (aka Shrek) as he really is a messy beast! The pied hasn't gone thru her first moult yet so I will have to wait and see but sofar she is looking like a traditional recessive.

I got this guy at Pet City. He is a nice and big boy. I got the following 2 from Prestige Pets. This boy is a nice size: This girl is a runt & way smaller than I usually like but she is a Violet Recessive Pied & I just couldn't leave without her:

Taken yesterday: The 2 lutino's are Charlie's babies. The scrawny one at the top left I have named Froggy (splayed leg correction didn't do as well as I'd hoped) Bottom Left is called HJ (Happy Junior) The one that looks dead centre is called Fred - we are hoping to make a pet out of him as he is a very curious bird & loves being picked up & scratched on the side of the head - he also likes gnawing on the webbing on the hand too! In case you are wondering what has happened to Boris - she is a year old now & we have placed her with a dominant pied male as she was showing signs of being 'desperate' to mate. I want to do what she wants to make her happy, her happiness is what matters to me the most. (she doesn't seem to love me anymore! won't even sit on my finger!)
