It must be mentioned that she is moulting so that may account for her dry looking feathers.

Mirrors do their head in and affect their mental stability. It gives them a reason to protect it and bite the owners. Best to have no mirrors in my opinion.

Never add a nestbox unless you are absolutely sure they are OVER 12 months and in breeding condition as well and not moulting.

Suggestion...........remove the nest basket or it will encourage thoughts of early and underaged breeding. They dont need places to sleep like that at all.

Any string type toys with over 1 and a half inches of "string" can hang a budgie..........nice toy but DANGEROUS

Last sunday of every month the svicultural society has a bird sale and meet at the clubrooms in a belmont. They sell breeding cabinets cheaper than most places there.
You would have to be really careful as neat calcivet has a tendency to make them gasp and choke and aspirate. Thats why crop needling is better.

Put neat calcivet into her crop by crop needle and put a warm lamp by her cage. I always put them in a show cage with seed on the floor of the show cage with lamp. Calcivet by crop needle is better at this stage than in her water.
