Eggs
It had died. You didnt kill it. you do not need to handle eggs nor take them anywhere, even into a dark room. Candling eggs can be done in the nestbox without even touching them.
-
Crop Needles?
I dont hand rear so I cannot answer that aspect. BUT Crop needling is a vital skill best learnt early on and not left till the last minute when it means life or death for a bird............for medications emergency crop feeds etc. Everyone breeding birds should learn how to crop feed or crop needle. I do know that crop feeding by needle saved many a baby chick that would not take a syringue feed.

Eggs
If it was a live chick there would have been bleeding when you opened the egg. The chick would have been bright pink. If it had died the chick would have been cold and purple/blue and no bleeding. A bright one that doesnt put out heat.

Dark Green
The dark factor can also be taken from blue series birds as Clearwing suggested. Green being dominant anyway

Sick Budgie - Urgent Help Please!
Ronivet wont hurt and is given as a preventative treatment anyway. I recently had to treat some quarantine birds with it. Made a big difference in just a day or two. So, in cant hurt and I still say she needs a vet diagnosis....but as its easter...you may find it hard to get an avian vet to look at her.

Puzzle.........cere Colour Problem
Just checked again Kaz but think they are dark. I'm just so pleased to have a chick and counting, from him. Thank's G.B., from look of other eggs I think there's a few more to come, here's hoping. I've got 24 eggs in 3 nests, 3 due to-morrow, one from each nest, 3 other pairs thinking about it. the difference between plum eyes and black if it helps and red of course is lighter

Major Problem
Due to our past experience you will not get anyone to advise you on a public forum how to euthenase a bird. Doing so has a tendency to attract a whole world of trouble and repercussions that noone wants. Suggest you do what Maesie said and or PM more experienced members to ask for advice behind scenes. However, I would clean up the bird first and reassess her injuries. It may not be as bad as it looks.
