  1. Good to see you here, but your photos are not here. There is a link in my signature saying HOW TO POST PICTURES. Follow the instructions and then we can see your budgies
  2. Good to see you
  3. If you dont want to proceed with another clutch you can remove her to a seperate cage. She will lay off the perch. Maybe two eggs at most and then she will stop. It does not automatically mean eggbinding just because there is no nestbox.

You might end up being used for free labour Ratzy. However you can do what some of us do by constantly going in and commenting and giving advice about the birds like you just did. We also take information sheets out and teach them about what to buy in as far as healthy birfds goes etc. Costs us a little in printing BUT the rewards are for the birds sake. I have also put information on a CD before for pet stores, and that just costs time and a 99 cent cd. While I am in a pet store I make them change water and seed if needed, seed bowls for correct types, seed mixes for correct type, change perches if wrong and over food and water. If they have spare cages I sort their birds into ....males and females, and remove all sick birds to another cage and advise them about treatments. I do this where I can when I have time to do so. http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index....c=28544&hl=

  13. Could you please enlighten us with the book title. I may have this book in my extensive collection and if so will be able to reference it before making any further posts. Anna is no longer a member.
  14. Hayden if you ever get a chance to have a dog.........Cavaliers are excellent family dogs. We havent named the pups exactly because they wont be ours to keep. We give them temporary names so we can recognise them though. I had to work today to finish a job. The client is happy so thats the main thing :star: Tomorrow is all mine

I run a mozzie zapper in the birdroom. it puts out a blue light for the breeding room and also slightly lights up the flights which are off the breeding room also.
  17. Maggie and her puppies are home again. Maggie is looking real good. She is on antibiotics and she is allowed to be feeding her puppies.
  18. No......not brown markings ...a lacewing has cinnamon markings....lighter .....and lacewings generally are all yellow or all white with pale brown or cinnamon markings and red eyes
  19. Feeling very overworked and shattered. My husband was to be going to football tonight but he has given his seat to someone else so he can help me finish my work. Once I deliver this job Saturday morning I am taking myself off to bed for the afternoon. I expect to still bottlefeed some puppies to take the load off Maggie.
