My budgies made pairs as well and some of them are 2 females or 2 males. One of my males tries to mate with his friend (male), but the other male chases him away I think all budgies do this, it's a instinct, isn't it? And some of them mate with a perch too

I don't think I'm going to give them the sand bowl anymore. I'll do it once a month maybe just for a while.

I would also take him to an avian vet. One of my budgies had scaly face mites the other day, so the vet put some oily staff on his cere (and I had to do this with all my other birds too ) I hope your budgie will be okay soon

Sisi and Diamond are so much in love . I'm just thinking about breeding them one day - when they are older and I build new aviary - next year maybe. What colour could the chicks be? Are there any problems with breeding lutinos? Here are their pictures Thanks a lot :hap:
