Yes, I think they have enough space. I've made a special roof on our balcony, so they are in quite a big cage outside I think they like when I don't bother them. But some of them are actually tamed even when they are so many - one of them sits on my hand (I never tried to tame her). I think they are much happier in a group, they play the whole day

I don't know how old he is, I got him for free from a young boy - he said that Jedi can't fly since he was born. He hold his wings down a bit, but he jumps and climbs and doesn't look sick at all. He even has a girlfriend now

I'm soooo happy this site works again . While it wasn't working I became "a rescue station for budgies" :hap: I just can't help it - I started with one and now I have 18 of them (I've had 6 budgies when I was last time on this site) It's scary, when is it going to stop ? :fear :fear

I think I wasn't really ready when I decided to breed my two budgies, but I did my best to prepare myself for it. I've read some books, searched the internet and I have a friend (an experienced budgie breeder), who was helping me. I never wanted to breed for money or for having fun. I was prepared to keep all the babies. I couldn't send them away not knowing where they're going to end up. I probably didn't realize all the things which could happen. So I think I'm not going to breed budgies till I know much more about them, and anyway I feel it's much more important to give "a pet shop budgie" loving home. I can't take it back, but I learned from it.

Do you have a closer photo of Loui's bad wing? I've got a budgie who can't fly too. His wing tips were biten off when he was one day old.
