My Grown Up Babies
The pictures never show the colours exactly :ausb: . The one in the back is dark violet I think, Juli is opaline like her daddy and the one on the right side is blue (with dark green shades :rip: )

Pellets
I've just bought some granules (=pellets? ) - Hagen (Canadian) I think. In the ingredients is just salt. They have very nice fruity smell and taste good too I always mix just a little bit of them into the budgies seeds (even when they don't really eat them )

Dietary Essentials
My vet told me to give my sick budgie a bit of butter to help her digestion. In one pet shop here I've been to, they sell worms and the shop assistant said that she give them to their budgies sometimes. I was thinking about buying some for my budgies, but I'm not sure about it And I thought budgies can't eat cabbage

Budgie Laying Down
I've got shell grit and "Australian sand" - red with eucalyptus oil in it. I thought it would be good for them, but now I removed it from all my birds. I don't want to risk their health. She is a bit nervous on her own, but it's not for long. She got antibiotics for a week, so I'll see if she is okay then. Thank you for your advise and help I feel much better now - I was so worried I couldn't sleep.

Budgie Laying Down
We've just came back from the vet. She checked her (and her dropping) and said that my little girl have eaten too much sand . So she's got sore tummy. Now I must give her lots of fruit and veg to help her digestion. And she got some weak antibiotics. And she told me to remove the sand bowl. She said that sometimes young birds just eat too much of it. She actually said that budgies (or parrots) don't really need to eat sand to digest . Thats confusing, I thought budgies need sand. Did this happened to anyone before? :fear

Budgie Laying Down
Yes, I'm taking her to an avian vet. I don't know how old she is (I think not more then a year, but I'm not sure). She is in a small cage for now, yesterday I've put her in a bit bigger cage, but she was flying around and hiting the sites, so I think the small one is safer for her - she is not in it forever. I'll see what the vet says and if she will have to stay separated for longer, I'll put her in bigger cage.
