Thanks Rainbow! haha yeah... i get lots of them too!!! I just *LOVE* the shot of Pluto though!!! He's such a graceful, quiet flyer... i never hear him take off, fly, or land! Always super soft and quiet... :sad: He's turning into quite the stunner! And is a big flirt .... only with boys though (Laughing out loud) Thanks! Hello everyone! I took some cute pics of the babies today :sad: They have all fledged now, and Ariel has laid her 3rd egg in the nest (techincally her 5th egg, but she decided laying 2 on the cage floor was a good plan ) Anyways, i thought they were super cute today!!! Yes, all GORGEOES BIRDS!!! Nope, sure wasn't nice at all!!! I was looking at a huge food cup for my tiel, and i picked it up, and walked around with it (becuase i was going to buy it)... then i realised i didn't need it so i put it back in EXACT same spot nice and tidy... a lady came up to me infront of the WHOLE bird department, filled with people, and was like "Sir, we have you on camera, where did you put that food dish...is it up your sleeves"... (i was wearing a jacket)...i thought it was a joke, and she walked away once i showed her i didnt have it, then i continued to purchase stuff (not the cup (Laughing out loud)) then i got in car and told my mum, she was FURIOUS so went back in and got money back... we wrote letters, and complained to head ministry... i got a cheap $25 gift certificate... and honestly, that is not enough to make up for what i went through in the shop... Anyways, im glad they were nice to you! The cage is awesome! I've wanted one for ages to! Sadly i never coughed up the $$$ (Laughing out loud) Kirbs

Thanks Zebra! Oscar was a very funny guy today! From flirting, and trying to feed Diego... to flying on me!!! (Which he never does, i didn't consider him tame (Laughing out loud))... He was also very active, and would start to fly, then loop my room, and 'pick ip' his kids... They never all started to fly at the same time. Oscar would start, then loop my room, then fly over the cage or gym that the babies were on, then they'd all fly! It was actually pretty funny to watch! And you could see the babies faces as they were antisipating when to take off or not (Laughing out loud) Needless to say, they are all pooped! (Laughing out loud) Sooo tired, all sleeping right now... other than Tobie, he's on my shoulder licking my neck! It tickles!!!! (Laughing out loud) Kirby

Mars was preening his wing, then he stretched out his wing REALLY FAST and i got a great picture! Pluto, i've decided he's the most graceful, gorgeous flyer out of all the birds i have!!! group Pluto again daddy, Oscar The crowd favourite, Neptune again Tobie (formerly Saturn, this is the baby im keeping) took his VERY FIRST FLIGHT!!! Hey So, now that i stole Blinkie and Bailee, i thought i'd post some pics of them! Heres my cobalt spangle, Oscar, and my pied tiel, Diego as of this morning! Oscar become VERY ATTATCHED to Diego, and was flirting with him like mad! :rip: He was trying to feed Diego, and just like Bea's Blinkie, he was showing off his sexyness! (Laughing out loud) Bailee... oops i mean Diego ( (Laughing out loud)) acted just the way Bea's Bailee did! Beak open, sooo confused, and freaked out! (Laughing out loud) So, here are *some* of the pics i got!!! "Hey baby, you single?" "You're gorgeous!!"... "OSCAR, what are you doing???!!!" "Aren't i handsome?!"... "NO STOP!!!" "Humor me will ya?"... It was SOOO FUNY!!!! However, the birds all had a huge fright lastnight, and Diego seems to not be feeling the best He's spat up quite a lot of seed, and his eyes are very sore... Maybe he's just tired?!? Elly, what can i say... I remember when you got the cutest, lil pied baby. And we all commented you on your amazing pick! And when you wanted to change his name becuase you found out he was a baby boy He was such a spoiled lil birdy, and you honestly did, so everything to give him the best life You did nothing wrong, and i would have loved to be Pretty if i were a bird. You showed him what love is, and he passed away knowing he was loved by many. Meaning you, Merlin, your family, and everyone on this forum! He was a great lil boy, and i hope you will think of happy, or funny times you shared with him Hope you have a nice rest of the day, and take a ncie bath tonight... just remember to think of happy times! Thanks you two! I like the ones of Pluto... His wings were always spread out so gracefully He's the one out of all of them, thats the lightest, quietest, 'hummingbird' like. He hovers in one area, or glides softly... rather than the other birds zipping around like flies! (Laughing out loud) Kirby

Thanks guys! It's SUCH an amazing feeling... to have a bird, that has the ability to fly anywhere in the room, pick your hand, head or shoulder! Such an awesome feeling, i can't get over it!!! Neptune LOVES me to detah She loves being on me as much as possible (in fact, she was on my shoulder for most of those pics )... as she would just preen on me... or fly to me just to lick my arm Such a lil freindly girl!!! Hello everyone! I FINALLY FIGURED OUT (after years and years and years of owning birds)... HOW TO GET GREAT FLIGHT SHOTS!!! I switched modes on my camera, let the birds out, and was patient (for the first time in my life! (Laughing out loud)). The birds were having a GREEEAAT time! I even let Oscar and Ariels babies out! They were doing 70% of the flying! This was the FIRST time Pluto, and Neptune used their wings to fly!!! Mars did the other day for the first time, he was quite good! Since they aren't fat adults yet , they are sooooo graceful, and would hover, perfect for taking pics! I'm actually proud of the following pics... so please don't be harsh! (Laughing out loud) [i'm a newbie at flight taking pics...this is the first time i've been able to capture them flying with decent piccies!!!] So, without further adue, here are the gorgeous pics i got of my stunning flock! Neptune again Mars again Neptune again...(Laughing out loud) Mars Oscar (weird picture, but shows his TRUE colour! So i posted it to show you all!) my Lilly Mars yet again! Cool!!! I love the birds, and nice cage! :D Thats the Super Pet where i was accused of shoplifting And i didnt... They have nice bird selection, but TERRIBLE employee staff, and they are very rude. I've since stopped going there, not worth my time... Kirby Great shots once again!
