yeah thats what i found the hardest when Cheeky passed away. Its when the house is so quiet. Maybe once you feel a bit better you might get another little baby. I really found it helped get over cheeky. Take care

yeah maybe i just thought it was strange to give an injection without doing any tests to see what was wrong. How is your wee one doing?

hi guys, i was reading another forum and came across this: Hi, I was given two budgies for my birthday in July, they are (I think) about 6 months old, one female and one male. The female has a club foot from an injury in the avery before we got her. For the last few days she has been loking poorly, she is all sort of puffed up and bloated, and her tummy looks distended, and she is hunched over her perch. She took her budgie to an avian vet who didn't do any tests but gave her an antibiotic injection. The wee soul died this morning. Does anybody think this is a poor vet or am i just being over sensitive?? surely he shouldn't have let it go home until some tests were done?
