ha ha kestral my birds do the growling thing into a glass too! i think they like to hear their voice echo!!! Oscar actually pyts his head in my mouth and growls!!! Oscar also likes sticking his head down between my eye and my glasses as everybody saw in my post!! He's nuts!

aw thanks guys! Riebie, not usually he usually does that when he;s a bit more excited - he's chipped the paint off mine too!! He sometimes gives my eyelashes a little nibble too!

Hiya, Scooter is absolutely gorgeous! I'm rubbish at telling if they are boys/girls but i would guess girl. (I am totally guessing, someone who has a clue will probably post later! :hap:)

Ha Ha!! its more of a hindrence! Although its very cute, it is a total pain when you are trying to do anything and you can only see through one eye!!

yeah i know i'm really lucky. To be honest i've been really lucky with all my birdies. I'm really surprised how quick oscar has taken to us though.

he sometimes rubs is head but he mainly just sits. Presses his wee face in for a cuddle! Sometimes he even lets you rub his head with my nose!

Oscar's new feathers are reaaly annoying him!!! This is his new favourite place - he stays like this for ages!!!

Hiya, is it possible for a budgie to change colour after his first moult? Oscar was a sky blue colour when he was a baby but the new feathers growing in are a brighter blue/aquamarine colour. what do you guys think?

yeah i agree with Lovey, i think catching them scares them more. Oscar has a terrible tantrum when i catch him so i only do it for emergencies. When i trained oscar, i just went in every day and spoke to him as i pushed my finger closer to his tummy. I didn't give up - chased him about a lot till he gave up running away. I also found it easier to finger tame outside the cage. good luck!

thanks lovey: no the poops started before the vitamins but its just the occasional one - not all the time. as for the vegies ive tried: chopping them up, cooking them, putting them in with seed and millet. Hes not frightened of them, he just gives them a wee chew then ignores them. Yeah i had heard that about the vitamins too but i thought i would give them a try. thank you
