He's doing okay i think - still got another week or so before he gets his next treatment but if it looks like its getting worse ill be straight onto the vet. Think im going to use vaseline on his feet just in case - they don't appear to be infected but i just want to make sure.

  19. Yeah ive been reading up on it and it says that it doesn't usually appear until about 6-12 months of age. I have to say that he is looking a bit better already - don't know if thats because the vet scraped some of it away though. Thanks for all the advice guys. Thanks for the link Martine. I only put the ivermectin on every 10 days so we will see how he gets on in a few weeks. fingers crossed!

  25. thanks guys the vet reckons he's had it since he was born - wonder why you couldn't see it though? maybe i just never spotted it?? I think you can use the treatment in different ways because the vet says that it can also be given orally. what do you guys use to treat it? thanks Bea i had seen your post when i was looking for pictures to find out if thats what was wrong with him! he looked like he made a full recovery?? I felt so sorry for him - the poor soul screamed for the entire time the vet held him! he's running about like a mad thing now though!
