In Desperate Need Of Help!
well there is disputes about tunneling as with any subject that is sensitive ex. wing clipping. Tunneling may work on 1 bird and not another it doesn't sound like it is working for this budgie and I would personally stop and start at the basic with the training tips givin at www.budgietalk.com. You have done tunneling it sounds like the bird is much more fearful and scared of your hands so the biting is normal and expected. This may not be what you wanted to hear but that is what I see is complicating the training process too.

Help With Sexing Please
too hard to tell the flash is washing out the cere Rule of thumb: since the bird is over 6 months old if the cere is a tan or has ever turn crusty tan a female but if it is pink then a male.

Sand V Grit?
to give them a calcium supplement you would give them a cuttlebone, sand doesn't have calcium in it unless it is mixed with something such as a cuttlebone or substance with calcium

Confused
there are expections, Pheobe as a bird like that and she is working with the vet with hormone shots to decrease the egg laying but again uncommon.

Pneumonia
I agree with Shawna I would get him well first and worry about veggies later you want to make sure he is not stressed more. As for keeping the draft of the fan off of him until he is well I would put a sheet around 3 sides of his cage to keep him nice and toasty with no draft

Want a tame bird?
If you don't have any behavior or territorial problems do what you feel is best for your budgie. We all have different ideas just like wing clipping but I believe each home and bird is different and must be treated as such.

In Desperate Need Of Help!
I thought it was a different species at first Anne but then I disregarded should have went with my first thoughts anyways I do hope you separate them because both birds could feel threatened by each other and this is where the behavior could be stemming from.

My Flock
Well I will take a stab at it (Laughing out loud) Miss Joey: her wings looks grey in the picture so a full body grey wing Jack: the lighting is throwing me off could be just a light green or a yellow faced that turned green? Miss Galen: normal cobalt unless she has a spot on the back of her head which would make her a dominant pied Sparkle: Yellow Face 2 Recessive Pied Casper: Recessive Pied Roxie: Clearflight Dominant Pied Atlas: is either a yellowface 2 greywing or a dilute and if is a light blue it would be a female I can't see very well in the picture Lysander: Yellowface Type 1 and if light blue again a girl Wonderful cage set up and hugs about Bennie

Confused
Females don't usually lay eggs unless giving the right enviroment (some do but it is not common) so if you have a female no you don't have to worry about egg laying. So you can have a girl with no eggs yep A picture of the cere would help there are so many pictures on this forum if you go under the picture section you may find or do a search on ceres I know I have posted Pretty's and Merlin's a number of times. The rule is female in any variety will be white tan or a crusty dark brown in males it would be a deep blue BUT if you have a lutino, recessive pied or a dark eyed clear it would stay a pink. Also but not always an indicator on a younger budgie that cere has not changed is if they have white nasal rings indicating a girl and boys have none or if any they are thinner and more tranlucent in coloring.

I agree there Rainbow I didn't know the cage mate was a tiel that right there could be the major issue you should not house 2 different species together.
