Merlin and Pretty would be naughty too every once in a while. Covering them partly they will get used to it and I notice mine perch in the front too for night time vs the back odd uh? Anyways at least you know who is being naughty and who is being nice

well it seems like everything is worked out but the parents and there is not much I can do on that end. Of course keep Noah nice and warm (er), keep in touch with the vet over the weekend or at least the office in case there is an ER. I am so glad Oz is better and the rest of the birds too. HUGS

Taking pictures after picture now :ausb: he is so handsome. We are working on bonding and he is doing well. I have him sit on my shoulder while I am at the computer, he preens my hair while I talk to him and today he even started to preen himself. Of course he would rather be in his cage or on the back of my chair but he tolerates mommy's love. Now he is singing on the back of my chair . You really don't expect to eat that all by myself do you? Alright I will try I am stuffed NO MORE... He has a more evil eye going today I think it is those iris ring :dbb1: or some of Pretty is showing through :offtopic: anyways enjoy!!

Yes I know I have too many losses over the last 2 years. My dad passed away before my eyes, my old dog Brandy just passed away Feb 3, and my cousin died this year who was only 29y. The pain does ease the memories become better I think I just am still in utter shock you know. No preparation to come to terms with it at all.

Pretty was so unexpected. Dallas was beautiful and he was also taken so soon I am so sorry Hurdy . You know spring is springing (somewhere under that frozen ground of ours) (Laughing out loud) and I wonder if this is causing all the attitude toward I want this and that Ann. I mean maybe they think they are roosting hens or something and protecting their spot you know. Then they are wrecking and shredding because that is all nature's call. Have you thought of covering them 1/2 way first for an hour or so they can get settled (unless you do that already) and then a complete covering? Also adding more higher perches then their are birds (but you probably have that too huh?). Maybe turn the cage in a different direction too would encourage a different enviroment?

Not the ones when he made you mad for not going in the cage when you wanted him to or when he was 'to cool' to be on mummys shoulder : (Laughing out loud) You took care of him more than you knew! You loved this lil guy sooo much, and still do, thats why you joined. To give him an ever better life and all i can say is he sureeeee was spoiled with love since the day he came in the front door! Like i said before, you were his angel for the short while you had hime. Kirby awe thanks Kirby. Even those stinky times start to make me smile though. You know all those things you did naughty all of a sudden don't seem so bad in the spectrum of things He used to dive bomb me in the kitchen when he was the lone bird he really was connecting with me and I loved it. I remember one time I was washing dishes and he flew on a plate with clean water in it and gave himself a bath as I held it under the running water WOW I was shocked. Then when he started to talk that was so cool. Some of these behaviors went away with getting Merlin and some stayed.
