    All my toys are tied up or higher so they don't get poo'd on, also you can weave millet through the balls and food they make good enrichment toys.
  4. Don't forget it is a single factor and a double factor gene so if the bird is a double factor your % is 100% that all the chicks in the nest will have the added factor but only 50% if it is a single factor.

  8. If he is a albino with red eyes his cere as a boy would stay pink as a girl it would go to a light tan, dark tan or very light blue.

  13. awe that is good news and sad news but I bet the other 2 will be okay just give them time to adjust, it seems that adult birds are sometimes more skittish of baby birds, it is like that in the dog world too I notice they have a different smell or something about them.

  16. I also think just like our own digestive systems everyone is different so his body may have to adjust to the change more then hers, just keep an eye on them and any behavior changes.

  24. I agree with Liv. I am actually thinking that this bird is a female with the issues and not a male, do you have a picture of the sick bird. I had 2 males and though another male will advance they never have full sex plus is this is accurate that would not create a swollen bum. You also need to get this bird to an avian vet.
