Just Some Of My New Guys......
WOW! Stunning new additions Karen and the names just crack me up  I went to a ladys house the other day as she was selling all her birds (thinking to update the genes in my aviary) and i came away with NO BUDGIES which was a first for me.. they were all so dull looking and many seemed to have fatty lumps on their breast (under feather) and it was a huge turn off.. Although i came home with many of her other birds :(Laughing out loud): :rip:

The Six Babies Of Honey And Luigi
 Karen you never cease to amaze me with your talents... its either your budgie knowledge and advise you are willing to offer, or your creative streak with your lead lighting, or your babies abilitys to produce the most adorable little ones of there own, and last but by far not least your beautiful warm nature that shines through in the way you look after all your birds.. You are doing the most wonderful job with them all and the photos are absolutely adorable YOU ROCK! hehee :rip: Cheers  Una

Um...i Don't Know What To Think +video
I'm Sooooooooo tempted to call Dr Harry even, even as i'm typing this munchy is going at it with my toes Think ill pull out the camera soon.. he has decided to feed my toes first to prove that he would make a great provider No matter how i put my foot he thinks hes in for a really good chance, but if i should happen to move my foot about too much (and too much for him is keeping it constantly moving violently) he will jump up and try his luck with my hand and if that fails, any skin will do or even the carpet is great Cheers  Una

Flood Almost Killed My Baby Budgie
Another thing to hand feed him with is human infant rice cereal (Farex is what i use since i also live remote) and as the bird gets older i mix a little seed and mashed greens in with it for them.. I've always just let them wean when ready, but always have seeds about for them to play with until they get use to the whole seed idea.. I have not fed pellets so i cant advise you any on that

Late Hatching
Sometimes the egg can be so full of chick that when you candle them they look just all dark and almost rotten.. Id not remove any eggs as the hen will remove them when she is ready, I once had an egg that i was considering removing but decided to leave it a day, lucky i did as it hatched a few days later Now i just leave them alone and let the mum work it all out
