  1. It's good that you don't carry antibiotics. I personally am very anti them (as EVERYONE here knows ). If you did use them it is possible that you may not have the right antibiotic for the bacteria. Also you could end up killing off beneficial bacteria that are preventing more pathogenic bacteria from setting up. Pus does not always equal infection, as it can result from debris being in the animal, but it is very often, generally, yes, bacteria. It can also result from tissues dying and the body degrading them to remove them. Anyway, I don't really know what else to say, rather than get him to a vet asap.
  2. In science a Law does not mean it is infallible. Laws are very annoying things and are better replaced with Theories. A theory is the highest form of understanding in science. A theory is a very very strong hypothesis about something, that has a lot of evidence to back it up and has not been proved wrong. A theory is not what someone thinks something is and how it works. Observations are what lead us to form hypotheses. In which we either create experiments to test these hypotheses or further observe something to back it up. A hypothesis that has been backed up by evidence gained from repeatable experiments and observations and has not been proved wrong, becomes a theory. Theories are really hypotheses that are highly resistant to being proven wrong (in fact no theory that exists today has been proven wrong, because then it would have been dropped by the scientific community, it is still possible that they could be proven wrong, but they haven't yet. For example the Theory of Plate Tectonics) and have been tested over and over to produce the same result without fail.
  3. I have heard that Mendal did pad out his numbers a bit to make them look more convincing. It is haresay, because my flatmate told me, but it is possible. There is a lot to the world that we don't know.
  4. Such a cutey. The pictures look sorta dated, sepia even. And the little beer drinking emoticon is still there!

Yep, definitely a dom pied. Kicking seed out of the bowl is even more annoying when they have turned around and are kicking it onto you while you're trying to read a book!
  6. I'm really sorry to hear this. By the speed that it grew it sounds like it was inflammation caused by some sort of allergic reaction most likely. She was probably bitten by something which caused it. This would explain it being hot, red, painful and fast growing. It could also have been an aneurysm maybe. Get a necropsy done and then you will find out what caused it. If it was a bite then you would need to know so that you could maybe exterminate the area of poisonous insects.
  7. Puzzles are always fun and educational! :hap:
  8. I'm sure they would love them. Although they will probably find them quite scary at first. I would also not give them very much.
  9. But at least in destroying his toys he has something fun to do.
  10. Maybe one of those things where you have a pair of pads which have velcro on them and each person has one pad. They throw a tennis ball and the other person has to catch the tennis ball with the velcro pad (the tennis ball sticks to it). Good fun. I had one of those as a kid. Great for hand eye coordination. Plus if you get the youngest it, he will have to share it with the oldest to play, but still feels like it is his.

The white on the tummy could be a reflection off the paper. But looking closely at his leg, it is white, giving him the appearance of wearing boxer shorts! So yes, I change to Dom pied
  12. They are all dominant pieds (or dieds as Jimmy put it). The blues are both cobalts and the grey looks like it has only one grey factor. What its base blue is I don't know, but probably cobalt just like the other two. Oh and big head spot tends to indicate dom pied, with little head spot indicating recessive pied

There is no full front on photo showing his tummy But the last one shows most of his tummy. I missread what you said and for a moment there thought my firewall was playing up again!
  14. hahha. That picture is cracka!
  15. I like how the website is called Happy Planet. :laughter:
  16. :laughter: I like its little crest.
  17. What are Dutch and Danish pieds? I only know what Dominant, Recessives and Clearflights are.

He is absolutely gorgeous. I would go for a clearflight pied rather than a dominant as I can't see a band across his tummy
  19. Merry Christmas and have a great time!
  20. Welcome to the site!
