  2. Cute pics of Ricky, 1st picture reminds me of a sweet little seal pup, must be the face expression.
  3. eterri is it true that males are more likely to talk than females?
  4. Star sometimes suffers from this, especially after greens, several good baths and a cotton bud normally does the trick. I think it gets worse as they get older. I was going to say know the feeling, blinking alien probes.

We use tap water, just run it for a short time before filling the dish/pot. Also never use water from the warm/hot tap as this can contain bacteria and also copper (if in the UK). If you have very old pipes then use filtered water to remove any lead or other nasties.
  12. Closest thing I could find http://cgi.ebay.ca/BUDGERIGAR-BUDGIE-BRAND...1QQcmdZViewItem
  13. Typical kids, that's why we don't have and don't want. Budgies are alot better
  14. How many eggs & babies do you have on the go at the moment.
  15. Two brain cells, you're getting dangerous now, we don't want any strange breeding going on in here. Whatever next 3, 4, there'll be a major debate and impossible puzzles.
  16. I'm sure if there's food around, on the floor, in several feeders etc then he won't starve himself to death. Our second budgie took a long time to find his food. We fed him by hand (holding feeder up to him) a few times to ensure he kept his strength until he got more settled in his cage.
  17. Karen don't give up. I hope you manage to rid this disease from your birds without any more sad losses.
  18. Good perch manufacturers are http://www.sandyperch.com/ http://www.pollyspetproducts.com/
  19. Good site daz. Have you thought of registering your own domain and having your own hosting? What a great picture at the start with a lovely blue sky, warm weather. If people are having problems seeing the current verison then if they are using Internet Explorer then press the F5 key several times whilst on the site and this should pull through any updates.
  20. Excellent advice from Eterri. I find it's normal behaviour for a budgie. Welcome to the forum sqweakie1
  21. Grey green? Olive green? a little help from this strange piece of info I found via google http://wbo.bestofbreeds.net/budgerigarcolourguide.htm
  22. I've heard of something similiar where most budgies carry a disease and then all of a sudden an illness like this can develop as it's a very fine balance between a healthy bird and one with problems. Karen sorry to hear the news (again), hope you manage to sort it out and your budgies are okay.

Daz I'll get back to you with a price as I need to find out the exact packed weight of the cage so I can get prices for shipping to Australia. If you know of any reasonably priced companys who ship to Oz then let me know. Hath if I see anything then i'll let you know the details.
