  1. So, about that, how would that work?

I do believe or ive heard that your not alowed to export budgies out of Australia anymore. Not sure if thats correct, but I have heard that. I can tell you this: Breeders in Australia give all their problem budgies to petshops. If you want HQ budgies, breeders the only way to go. (applies for Australia, not sure for other places)

Shortage in Austraila? No one seams to want budgies where I live. There seams to be to many and people arent buying! Many breeders I know can't get rid of their birds.
  4. no, ive got a high perfomance pc with about 240 GB of space. Its just my usb insnt working. I reinstalled windows with sp2 but no change. Guess its my mainboard.
  5. Hey guys. Yes I was there. It was great! I also got heaps of pics for the site! Ill post them real soon, as i have to wipe my computer first!

would anyone be able to get a picture of this cage? Im interested in finding out what it looks like. :fear
  8. Just keep talking the word or sound over and over to her. In time she will learn your sound.
  9. Its a very nice cage, I must say. Lots of room.
  10. Hey, it isnt dangerous to let your birds out when your not arround, as long as there isnt any danger of them getting hurt.
  11. Rainbow: The bigger cage is 4x3 (size of a single car garage) Lupper1: Thanks for your intrest. I do very much enjoy budgies! I will continue to post pics and update about my birds and so on.
  12. its nice and big also!
  13. ##### Image Update 20/8/04 Added 1 new picture to the first post about my other aviary that I promised to post. ###### See First Post.
  14. no, havent had that before. I have a concave in the box so the eggs dont roll out, with sawdust. Im guessing that your bird doesnt like the stuff in your box!
  15. You put sawdust in your box, as this prevents splade legs on your chicks. (nest box only)
  16. ##### Image Update 14/7/04 Added 3 new pics to first post about the flight cage, and some baby budgies in nest boxes. ###### Im going to take some photos of my big aviary real soon!
  17. Thanks. :bluebudgie: Well, there is no need every day, just every 4 days or so. About 30 mins, clean, new seed and so on. (will post my other cage)
  18. I can tell you that is a great budgie mag!
  19. well, it would have to be safe for a baby, as you said, as it wouldnt be sold if it wasnt safe. It might be safe for a baby, but as budgieteen said, if a budgie was to eat something plastic and so on it may be a problem. If you can find something like really safe for your bird, no probs! :bluebudgie:
  20. For safety of your bird, I would really stick to made-for-bird toys, as they have been designed with in mind that it has no toxic chemicals, sharp edges, dangerous parts and so on. Its your choice, but thats what I would do. Im just reading how you said SAFE, chirpy but how would you know its not dangerous? (like inside)
  21. Yes, ive heard that Aborigines do! Ive also heard that budgie means "good to eat" which I was horified to learn! *Thanks for your nice comments guys!* About the green wild budgie thing, very true AnimalStudent. You sometimes find a blue one, but thats about all. I have 2 aviaries, and the one in the picture is the smaller one. Im going to take a photo of the bigger one. Quails are heaps cool! They wonder arround and look so cute! I havent put any in my aviaries though :bluebudgie:
  22. just be careful. If your not confident, get a vet to do it.
