hi could someone please tell me what mutation this is originally i thought it was a yf type 2 recessive but has since started to develop iris rings, any help would be appreciatedIMG_0310-1.jpg?t=1324433487

okay Do you think its Double factor or yellow face, I didnt think you could get yellow and blue in a dom pied

So you are saying it has a yellow face right, well then it would be a yellow face dom pied, really need a closer photo of the bird to comment on any more

How about you post photos of the bird not in a group.

 

PS iris rings make it very clear its dommie pied not recessive.

If you are talking about the 3rd bird along that perch then yes its also yellowface, and YES you do get yellowface blue birds. You may be confusing the fact that all green budgies have a yellow face but that doesnt make them yellowfaces if you get my drift :)

 

The two birds to the right appear to be goldenfaces

Simple check out the birds eye, if it has/gets a white iris then its dom pied if it doesn't its rec. pied. cheers clearwing

Your talking about the blue pied that resembles a rec pied right? Maybe it's a combination recessive and dominant pied? Or DF dominant pied?

We can't see enough of the bird in that photo for it to be properly identified
