I love his tail and how he keeps coming back. He seems to be saying but MOM why do you keep putting me over here Yes....that's whats happening. Just wants to be with "mum" now.....there is no peace. Hard to type one handed. What a little cutie. He has just had breakfast. He walks on the side of one foot but I am hoping that will correct when he gains some more strength and learns to perch. He is almost fully feathered now, but won't take his dinner off a spoon yet or from a dish. I will try him on some fine sliced spinach and carots later for nibbling. Link to comment

I will post piks ************************************************************************ :fear Macey Grey was found dead this morning. She seems to have had a soft shelled egg stuck. But yesterday gave no indication at all of being unwell. Cheeta and I saw her yesterday and she was fine. No indication of illness at all. She had laid 3 eggs with Clyde. The baby seems a little quieter today but we have a very hot day as well. I hold out some hope, but these little guys can turn around and go downhill very rapidly sometimes. I only have 12 pairs breeding right now and around 100 or more budgies that aren't ....just flying free, healthy and happy, flirting with each other and having a ball. Link to comment

Charlie's new name is now Moet...like the champagne....Mo for short. His new owners are very happy with him. Here is their email to us..... Hi Karen and Ken We just wanted to let you know how Moët is going, he has made himself right at home and he seems really happy and settled. Each day he gets a bit more lively and playful. He has had non-stop loves and cuddles and everyone who meets him thinks he is adorable. Tomorrow night we are taking him to puppy pre-school at the local vet, that should be very interesting!!!!! His toilet habits are going well and he is keen to explore the house and garden and get into everything that he knows he shouldn't. Thank you both so much for the puppy pack, it helped us get started and also for trusting us with this precious puppy, we are both so attached to him already and he spends time sitting on both of our feet. Maybe the little fella is a night bird ? He's on my lap right now. Oops !! I got pooped on :fear: I think a name change is in order too.....as he seems to waddle about and dance and wag his little tail I thought of the funny way Charlie Chaplin used to walk on the black and white movies. Unknown to me my husband used flyspray this morning in excess in a place he shouldnt have and my baby bird has died because of it. I don't use flysprays and now he knows why. He knows he has caused the death of a baby bird that had turned a corner and was going to make it. When the baby suddenly went downhill I was also unaware that Ken had done this. Mixed emotions here....a lot of women can understand when we tell these men something there is a reason for it. They think they know better and there are consequences.........very sad Link to comment
