Terri how proud you must be - its brilliant be sure to find me a good birdie bread recipe I have only seen ones that use some US muffin mix that I cant get here!

I have 1 tiel and 6 budgies at present the tiel is still in quarantine but will NEVER he housed with the budgies, hopefully they might be able to have out time together but even that might not ever happen, if your not prepared for that stick with one species. Eterri might be able to add to this she's more experience than me!

I see, well Charlie my tiel was from a store Pets At Home, I asked tonnes of questions about vets tests and quarantine etc which they follow quite strictly but he is still in quarantine from the budgies for another 2 weeks, so I might ask our avian vet if they stock the vaccine. Do you know how long it takes before it would be in full effect or is it immediate. Welllll I guess this means we at least have a diagnosis which is good. That little bird knows what a fan club he has I reckon he will thrive on on the love he is getting, Ive got big BIG hope for this little one, he wont let his Auntie Boomery down hehe. Pixie, do they do the injection for Cockatiels do you know?

I feed everyday and change them twice a day once in the morning and once when I get in from work. Its needless to say that I use a LOT of veggies. I feed lots more variety now, spinach, carrots and their tops, apple, brocolli, kale and the odd bit of corn, Ive replaced millet spray for carrot tops mainly because Candy is on a diet and all his was eating was seed and millet, he has now lost 12g and is loving the veggies and if that doesnt make it worthwhile I dont know what will!!

If anyone is gonna fight this Peanut will - and just look at his army of followers - he is one special little budgie!

I just use good old water, as mine use their own oil glands lots and thats the cheapest preening and best oil I can think of. I make an exception in Peanuts case he needs a little helping hand!

Huh how come you get to tame Pickle so easy peasy and he is an aviary birdie and I cant get mine to come anywhere near me even with all the love and attention I give them - little snotty snots!

Yeah thats true its a problem isnt it, he gets bullied outside and now inside I wonder what the best thing to do. I know sent Pickle to ME!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I think they will calm down but then again Max and Bobby fight all the time and Im constantly keeping an eye on them - I sometimes darent leave the room incase the hurt each other - the things that gets me is they are fighting over my little snotty madam Tobi hehe!
