When i got Oswald and the lady caught him for me she showed him to me for me to check and she said " I won't let him go cause he hasn't got his wings clipped or taped".....what is wing taping? It sounds like they just tape the wings down but that seems like a really dumb idea.

What colour do you think he is Nerwen? Type 2 yellow face spangle pied? He's so confusing because a lot of the time he just look green and then other times he looks completely blue!! :(Laughing out loud): He sampled millet for the first time and seemed to like it, it'll be great if he loves it because then i can bribe him with it.

Awww! They're so cute! :glare: To me Pip looks female and Perry looks male. Although, every single one of Blinkie's photos as a baby made him look female so you never know.

I just took a couple more photos and i think he could actually be a type 2 yellow face blue spangle pied, in th photos he looks almmost all blue!

I'm afraid you'll just have to wait, i want him to calm down with me before i pop him in his cage. :grbud: He seems no really like being nuzzled by my nose and getting the feathers at the back of his head fiddled with. Awwww, he's falling asleep! We've already played the blinking game which he liked. :grbud:

I'd like to tell you all about Oswald. :grbud: This morning i went to the pet shop for a buddy for Blinks and i think i've hit the jackpot with little Oz. He's a gorgeous little dominant pied dark green spangle. I'm guessing he's about 6 or 7 weeks old and if you haven't noticed by now, he's a HE. :grbud: I'm so pleased with him, he's got the chubbiest little baby cheeks and as i type he's snuggled up in my hair (it's tickles so much!!). I think he and Blinkie are going to be best buds. Oz has his wings clipped and he's such a smart little fella, he's already figuired that my hands will keep him up high so he seems quite happy to hang out with me. I can already tell quarantine's going to drag by, i can't wait till Blink and Oz can meet. Oh, and i haven't forgotten photos but i'm on my laptop spending time with Oz, you'll probably see photos in an hour or two. :grbud:

No, haven't checked those, i really want a baby.....wouldn't a rescue budgie be likely to be an adult and unsettled? Today's the day i go looking for a Blinkie friend. I'm very excited although i get this feeling that there won't be any babies.

I would but the RSPCA never has budgies and i don't know of any other rescue places around here.

Feels like it's been a while since i posted some new Blinkie photos here so i thought i'd post these photos i took tonight. Blinkie sort of went randomly hyper so getting the shots were difficult but he helped me go through the photos and he told me which i could post (i'm serious, he'd look on the little screen and then either happy dance or beak tap the delete button! :hap:). I can preen....can you? *preen preen preen* okay, please, no photos while i preen my butt! I said NO PHOTOS!!! *hides face behind tail* Now i'm beautiful time for some finger flirting goodness. Hey! I'm trying to watch TV here, stop blinding me with that stupid flash! I said STOP the photos!! That's IT!!! Be afraid......... *intense glare* And finally a bit of head scratchy goodness!
