Ozzie's decided to just 'survey from a safe distance' while Blinkie plays rough with his mirror on the swing! :(Laughing out loud): I think Ozzie might think Blinkie's a bit odd, the constant happy dancing from Blinkie might not be helping....it's the happiest happy dancing i've ever seen. Massive head bopping combined with swaying from side to side.....does look a little odd!

Oh My god!! I wish i had of had the camera with me a little while ago. Ozzie was preening his tail feathers and everytime he lifted a tail feather Blinkie would be right there trying to grab hold of it! Blinkie is trying to preen Ozzie at every possible moment. It's so cute! And everytime Ozzzie tells him to nick off Blinkie hops over to either me or his mirror and pretends like nothing had happened! :(Laughing out loud):

What was even funnier was at the exact time the vet said "he's a fat little budgie!" Blinkie did one of his pissed off chirps! :(Laughing out loud): I started laughing, it was so cute! He was singing to everyone in the waiting room before we saw the vet too. Yelling out 'kissy' and....yep, FARTING! :fear

I'm pretty sure it's the same. :fear

Blinkie is so socially PLEASE BAN ME!!! He's been getting so upset because everytime he see's Ozzie preening he really wants to help out....but Ozzie doesn't want help (probably smart, Blinkie preens a little to hard), so Blinkie gets ACK ACK ACKed at and is forced to leave. He's also FINALLY figuired out how to feed Ozzie....however, he hasn't figuired out that he doesn't need to hold Ozzie still with his foot and also that Ozzie doesn't want to be beak bashed in between mouthfuls! :(Laughing out loud): It's so funny to watch because Blinkie clearly thinks he's being a good friend. Ozzie's just got the "what the heck is wrong with this bird?!" look about him. Another little trick of Ozzie's is crying. It's the most sad noise i've ever heard a budgie make and he makes it whenever Blinkie flies off to play elsewhere. Ozzie's being incredibly tolerant of having Blinkie almost constantly attached to his tail. Blinkie holds on with both feet and gets dragged along. Ozzie's also making good use of the big playgym, he's sat on all the different perches and even plays with the perch spinners (which Blinkie NEVER touches).I'll have to take some more photos for you tomorrow before i go to school (i have a late start), might even get a little video. :fear

We have a stack of unused toothbrushes because when we were little the dentist would give us crappy free toothbrushes after every visit. :(Laughing out loud): They all get used for scrubbing birdy stuff.

We have these no chemical cleaning cloths which are supposed to work just as well as chemicals. We use those on surfaces in the room with the birdies. :fear

The first time i ever had eggs hatching they hatched after 21 days. It depends on when the hen starts incubating them. :fear

Blinkie doesn't like the vet. First he got called fat and that was while his feathers were being ruffled by the vet. As Blinkie has gone back to healthy mode the vet said that perhaps he was having trouble digesting something this morning and to just keep an eye on him and go back if it happens again. Dad's happy cause we weren't charged.

I'll get some more photos today or tomorrow, it will depend what the vet says. I'm guessing Ozzie will have to be medicated anyway if something is wrong with Blinkie. Ozzie is such a cutie-pie, he's got this little sound he makes which sounds like he's crying!

Blinkie's behaving pretty normally now. Since i went to school he's done one really runny bad looking poop but also several normal ones. I hope Phoebe goes well at the vets tomorrow.

This morning when i had Blinkie and Ozzie out for play time i noticed that Blinkie wasn't pooping properly, he was just doing the white bit, and he wasn't terribly interested in playing with Ozzie. He just wanted to sit on my shoulder or finger and doze. So obviously we rang the vets and he's booked in for 4:40pm today. Hope my little guy's alright, i think he might have the same problem Ozzie had. He's back in his cage now and, of course, is eating, playing, chirping, etc.

Ozzie wouldn't touch veggies until he saw Blinkie eating some too, now (the next day) he's already been scoffing down some brocolli on his own.

Yep, i am hoping they can share a cage. Probably won't try for another week or so though.

Can you spend time with Kiwi in a completely different room to Piccolo? If you were to do that everyday i would think that your bond would become stronger.

I can't believe how GREAT it is watching Blinkie play with another budgie. I was so worried that i would get ignored but i haven't been. He still wants to know that he's my special boy.

Well at first he didn't know that Ozzie was a budgie either, it took a fair amount of beaking, grabbing and wrestling for him to figuire that out. :sad:

Well at first he kept head bashing Ozzie but then they were just looking at each other and running around. Mickey is looking completely horrified by Blinkie's new sidekick! :(Laughing out loud):
