Mickey was very interested in it last night....he kept sniffing it as if to say "looks like Blinkie, smells like Blinkie....i wonder if i can eat this one?"- Blinks A Dork? So Is Pretty :-)
Pretty's so cute! Blinkie never perches up higher than about my shoulder height...thank god!- Too Much Veggies?
I'm pretty sure it's a competition. Like they're scared that if they stop eating the other will eat the rest in an instant and they won't get another mouthful! :(Laughing out loud):- Blink And Oz
I know. I love that Blinkie's still SUPER tame, that was my biggest fear about the whole getting a friend idea, that i'd lose my super tame baby. Right now Ozzie's getting ignored (and is crying about it) while Blinkie is busy flirting with my big toe!- Too Much Veggies?
I was just wondering if a budgie can eat too much veggies in a day? Since Blinkie and Ozzie were introduced they're both 100x more keen on veggies. Today Ozzie's scoffed down almost a whole piece of brocolli by himself and just then they shared a baby spinach leaf....Blinks also had a go at some carrot. So alot more than what they'd usually eat.- Blinkie Bookmark
I think it could be the peacock style tailfeathers i think.....made Bookmark Blink look like he was poofing himself up to get attention.- Blinkie Bookmark
Yeeeeah, true. But he was SUPER flirty with this.- Blink And Oz
(Laughing out loud)! Sweep should consider himself lucky that he only has one monster budgie out to get him! :(Laughing out loud):- Blinkie Bookmark
If you're: 1. Strange like me and collect your budgies feathers 2. Looking for something to do with the collected feathers then perhaps you could try something like this. It used up most of the Blinkie feathers i've been collecting since Blinkie's first moult. The whole bookmark At least Blinkie thinks i did a good job! (he was flirting with it!) Put to good use! I made it with 2 bits of thick art paper (one for the feathers to be taped to and the other to make the back look neat), lots of feathes, lots of tape and a head shot of Blinkie. I taped the feathers in rows because after trying a few methods on little bits of paper i found that tape did the least damage to the feathers and left them looking smooth and beautiful. Glue made them go all scruffy and it was too messy.- Colours For Beginners
Ozzie's actually a goldenface not a green: You can see the blue in this picture waaay better.- Nasty Boy
I know how you feel about your hands being attacked when you have millet.....*glares at Pudding* Ozzie was about 6 weeks old when i got him from the pet shop but rather than a birdy bin or an aviary he was in a small cage with only a few other baby budgies so he hadn't learnt how to be a turd yet. :dbb1:- Blinkie's Off To The Vets
When i say Blinkie farts i mean he mimics a fart sound....LOUDLY! It's his clearest sound sadly. But i do believe there is an old post in either Budgie Talk or Budgie Behaviour about farting budgies....can't quite remember what the replies said. I'm sure if you just searched fart the post would come up. :dbb1:- Nasty Boy
Well having observed Blinkie's effect on Ozzie (because in my case Blink is more tame), Ozzie has definitely warmed up to people more since he's seen Blinkie racing over to play on my head, shoulders, fingers, etc. He's much more willing to step up and even ventures over to join Blinkie if Blinks is playing with me. So maybe if you are able to bond SUPER well to the new baby then the babies tameness would rub off on Bobby. However, i would worry that the baby would be more likely to just become less tame and become slightly more birdy because of Bobby. I think this because your bond with the new baby will only be new and if he sees Bobby misbehaving then he'd probably copy. It would also depend entirely on the bird, some budgies stay tame with company and others become slightly less tame. Some things you could do to strengthen your bond with Bobby...does he have a SUPER favourite food? If he does you could offer that to him from your hand everytime you ask him to step up. Other than spending loads and loads of time with him i can't really think of anything else, i know everyone else will have some more ideas though. :dbb1:- Colours For Beginners
Yup! They're the absolute cutest birdies! :dbb1:- My Babies!

That's probably true! :(Laughing out loud): Don't worry, he's getting loads of extra cuddles and tidbits.- Blink And Oz
Whaaat?! 1........2.......do my eyes decieve me?? Waaahaaahhah....why??? WHY??!! The Terrible Two hanging out on dad's shoulder. Enjoying some brocolli in the sun. Whooo! Go Blinkie! Ozzie wants more. Aww, isn't that sweet! Time for my close-up! And mine too!!- Fallows
:(Laughing out loud): Those budgies look hilarious! Imagine if Blinkie's feathers went like that?! He'd get a complex trying to preen them back into place!- Blinkie's Such A Dork!
Oh he is! I get the feeling that once Ozzie can fly we're going to have 2 very cheeky budgies zooming around annoying people. - Blink And Oz
