  1. it's a chicky babe to me
  2. I would think have a big cannon and have a hole at the bottom of it with a perch, and the bird just flies through the cannon and hops onto the perch awaiting your arrival Another thing that could also be done, is have the smoke real thick and just train your bird to fly as fast as he/she can through the smoke, then make it literally go as aerodynamic as possible and at the last minute, get him/her to land on your shoulder or hand
  3. Hey guys, So I just bought this cute pair of zebras and I loved them straight away... They are currently in a different cage and room to Sparta for quarantine and they see to be settling fast. All I know, is that the males mutation is spotted something or rather and the females name is Isabella 0.o What do you guys think? I'm gonna get some pics up when they settle in and hopefuly soon, because ZF's have been known to settle in quickly and sometimes, as soon as they settle, they start breeding
  4. I'd say get a really thickening smoke machine, chuck a few molten/fake feathers and teach your bird how to fly to you so you make your bird start flying then go to the other side and catch the bird that's my idea anyway
  5. MWAAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Did you hear that BJ? We're thread hijackers!!!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Sorry
  6. I'm not sure if I should be saying "oh stop it you" or "I'm greatly offended" Hi Flip Can I just add. I bet it was my taming/training post you were reading to your birds. Go on, admit it. HA! HA! Lol. Yours B.J. Quite frankly, no..... I've not really actually read any of yours, just skim reading (I don't like long posts) Basically what you put on some of them is what's already on the internet rewritten (no offence intended, many people find things out that turn out to have already been found out... not sure if it applies to you )

  8. I know it's a bit weird, but I've always wanted to rescue an injured bird... It's always taken my fancy... I was almost there once, I was on a paddock in my Pops farm and there was an injured Galah I think it was, and a snake came along and ate it... fortunately, the ute was close by and I shot the snake (it was showing aggression towards me) I think it was a tiger snake....
  9. I'd suggest starting by sitting outside the cage, reading a book out loud (in a soft voice) Then opening their cage and putting your arm inside (away from the birds) and continue reading... next day you do the same thing, except after the second step, you put your arm in with millet.... (they must not have had any food for about 1-2 hours so they are slightly hungry) eventually, one will start getting interested and go onto your hand to eat the millet and the other will follow That should help you get started
  10. follow the link in my signature
  11. But a budgie IS a person.... A person doesn't have to be a human being you know (although dictionaries state)
  12. A budgie's just another Organism, don't you think that your personality changes from when you're 5 and when you're 30???
  13. I believe it's definitely female

  18. This is a Budgie Forum, not a Personal Problem Forum. It's the off-topic section, it doesn't really matter
  19. Hey guys, this link is for those of you who live in an area with a food shortage, maybe due to floods, bushfires, or cyclones. This is for your birds not you http://www.birdtricks.com/blog/how-to-feed-your-birds-in-a-food-shortage/
  20. Good luck Splat, I'm hoping the levys wont break, and I hope that as they make the levy higher, they make it wider, otherwise it definitely wont work, if they're not building it wider as well, make sure you mension it to them

  22. Being a male, I guess I can still say this much, the wife should definitely be the 'King and Queen' of the household... That's just how society should work
