Great! Hope it isn't reccessive else I may have some trouble breeding. I wonder if Skye and Marigold will have another green tail? I may have to keep it, was going to sell it. Is there a breeder near me who would like him?

With the food I tried putting gum branches in and once they started to eat it I hid carrot tops inside the leaves, hey, strange I know but it worked. Once they did that I put it in their food dish and they ate. Over time I added other stuff to their diet. Mine aren't a big fan of carrot, but they absolutely LOVE sweet corn. So give that a try.

Chucky The Superstar!
Awwwww sad. They could have at least sent you a copy to remember him by. In the photo he looks like a she. Is that hormonal problems?

New Breeder! Help!
You could weigh it down with something. I have heard horror stories about lifting up the door and a chicks head pokes out and gets strangled when the door comes down.

What do you need help with? If you're breeding coloney style, which I would not advise, you'll have to remove the extra bird. Read up on the FAQ's as they are really useful. I can help a bit, but as I'm only a beginner you're probably better off asking for help from some of the more experianced breeders. If you have removed them into cabinets well done! Hope I can help.

Not sure why he might lift the door up... could he be trying to get in?

New Breeder! Help!
I did it at when the youngest is about 2 weeks. Then they start to get really messy. Take the chicks out in a bowl lined with tissues where the parents can see them. Then do the cleaning.
