Weird Situation!
Yes they are very secretive when they want to be. Another three days and we should get a better picture when you candle.

Mine don't like that either. Nice to see you and little bobby here. As to becoming addicted to this place, well we can't help stop that. :ausb:

Too Many Spots?
Oh well the things to know, I keep saying I don't know much about showing, but I had hear that flecking is an unwanted thing, I guess I matched that to not winning.

A New(ish) Addition!
He is a wonderful Opaline clearbody I wonder if he is an Easley clearbody rather than the Texas one. Your right there is a name just out of reach that would suit him perfectly. I'm glad you have him reather than that other family but feel sorry for the new one they have if they can eaily forget about the love they had for this great guy. How about: Mercury or Merc for short?

What Am I?

Weird Situation!
as Bea said they like early mornings (just as the sun is comming) so they could have done something with out you knowing. But just having a place the hen thinks as good to nest in then she will start her cycle and start to lay even if the male is too silly to do anything. As to candling it is pointless to candle anytime before 4 days 5th or 6th day is better to tell, becuase before that the egg will look clear and so you think it is infertile. I have my fingers crossed for you.

B R E E D I N G H E L P ! ! !
Had to hunt around to find pictures of the pair again. you should get: Yellowface blue recessive pied Yellowface Violet Recessive pied. If Chico is split for opaline then you will get some. All the males of this clutch will be split for cinnamon unless he carries the gene and then you will get some showing.

Marine and Tooties Journal
WooHoo, I'm glad he is doing good with the two babies. Tootie for some reason has started to enjoy chewing on the box while brooding at night. But both are still doing well, when Marine sings at the box she pops out for a feed, which is so funny to watch, since he has to stretch so high up to do so. Tootie doesn’t' believe in coming down to his level.

Marine and Tooties Journal
Just candled the last egg and it seems we have a 100% Now for the next bit waiting to see if they will hatch. The 1st is the due date for egg number one, but I'm not expecting it to hatch on time since I had to take mum to the vet at the start. Just giving you all the time line, and when to expect a new update.

What Is It?
Dingo Yes he is, look at the bars around the head they are pale and the green is showing a bit there which is a sign of opaline. The first is still bugging me. Her markings are pale and the edging is almost the smae colour as the body. I really think she might be another opaline. With the wings and the pale (unseeable) bars along her neck.

Interesting Mutations.
I would think both greywings as well, but like you said the first could be clearwing. Are these guys still very young? Just asking becuase I see no bleed of yellow into the body and wonder if they are type one instead.

Eucalytus Leave's Better Than Fruit & Vegies
It does say that they are not against feeding veggies, but if they wanted to state about the leaves they could have done some more work and possible found out which sort they ate.
