100% Weird!
I think this is is a behaviour he had started, reather than a problem since he was happy to use anthing chewable and so quickly. It might be done to boredom and in that case Osward should help with that later.

At Last - babies
Fingers crossed Daz. For furutre info the pen i used to mark my eggs was the black marker from a pack of 12 (Artrite) that I found in Woolies. It was the only packet I found that said non toxic and water based. I keep asking Reep to tell me his colours I'm very excited to see his feathers.

Yes Lin I'm just like you No but the ones I'm asking are her kids. Berry lifted his head this morning when I spoke to them which was great to see that he is getting more interested in the area around him.

Here is an idea, what about moving the bell to another area in the cage, he might be getting comfortable where it is. OR since you have a friend coming to visit soon a check up just to be sure?

At Last - babies
YAY Squeaker when for his first trip today. (yes I was naughty) I took him to another room in the house (7steps sort of thing) to show him off to my aunt, she was the other that saw me candle his egg. " At lest this time it was different to, "oh how ugly" like she said when she saw his picture at hatching. She thought he was a cutie and loved the fluff. Tootie didn't seem to be too bothered by the trip, she took him back and stood proud at having 'chased' away my hand.

100% Weird!
Has the amount of time he does it or spend on it extented? If not i don't think it's a big issue, if nothing has change to his feet (bar the smoothness) Maybe he is making sure he doesn't sratch you with scaly feet

When Should I....
Start training him now, put her hand in and hold it there until he settles down then slowly move it closer and closer. once you can get him to step up onto it with ease he would be ready to be let out of the cage. The site Budietalk has a page on training.

Hand Feed Or Let Parents Raise Them?
Many breeder hate the yellowface gene I heard. Beucase it can be carried just like the blue and ruin the aim with a line. Many breeder hate the yellowface gene I heard. Beucase it can be carried just like the blue and ruin the aim with a line. I love them for the oddness of the bleed

At Last - babies
Your welcome Kirby, it's what this place is all about. I've looked again a few time today and Reep does have buds of fluff there just not the black dots that all the others have, I wonder what that means for his colour I have also tried to get a few moment with Tootie (not saying mum this time daz ) out of the box so I could pick up Squeaker and Echo for closer pictures but she was having none of that okay okay it was buging me and so I finally tooka dive and picked up the babies in front of her, she never made a noise and only nibbled at my fingers although once I had one she tucked the others under her. Squeaker: and Echo: Can you see some colour now?

- Hand Feed Or Let Parents Raise Them?
I have my own home made box and so was able to make it suit the cage and where I wanted it. I add both mum and dad to the cage when they were in breeding condition. Some breeders like to add the hen then two or three days afterwards add the male.- What Could Be Going Wrong?
just want to check you have very clean hands or wear gloves when handling the eggs? They do have air holes and can get bacteria into the growing chick that can kill them before hatching. - Hand Feed Or Let Parents Raise Them?
