Aww Opal is so cute. And your tiel is a looker too.
  6. SHe laided another egg yesterday afternoon but now she isn't lett marine mate anymore which is great. ALl things have settled for the most part, Tootie rules the cage if she wants the spot she get's it but isn't chasing any ones. Squeaker is still a bit of a bully. Reep and Scuttle are doing fine standing on the perches and moving around. Reepi likes to play with the bell while Echo likes the toys on the ground.
  7. :ausb: I know I love watching the in the mornings (even at 6 am!) they are just so funny to watch. Kirby I've said so much aobut this place that if she was going to join she would have by now :ausb: Don't fear if I get photos (or take them myself) I will have reports on him. (yes he cere is turning more pink now )

Welcome to you and Casper. I'm sorry to tell you this but he isn't that young at all. I would guess any where from 6 months at the youngest. This doesn't mean he can't be a great pet to you and your family he just might take longer to tame and train.
  9. welcome your little Frippe is a cute :ausb: Are the baby pictures the same clutch or the two different ones? just asking becuase it looks like you have an ino in the first picture but the other two didn't show any. Just wanting to see if I seeing correctly or not Also I couldn't get the link to your site to work.
  10. Tootie is a Texas Clearbody Opaline and I believe Yellowface type 2 now. The guy i got her from really wasn't that helpful but he did tell me she was a blue tpye bird. When I read up on clearbodies I thought she was a normal green but will all blue babies that is what I think she is. Kirby postage and handling fee is $1000 (aus) edit- OMG I missed the photo of Scuttle!!!!!!!! My friend has picked him (?) to take home
  11. A fallow is a bird with red eyes and all black anf grey tones in the bird reduced to brown, like the cinnamon gene. The body colour is normal but reduced in strenght
  12. Had to go back and count but that my fave too  So Blinks hasn't been going too overboard with his actions?

:bluebudgie: Yep it's a great name one that was giving to this one older sibling from the last clutch. That and Walt.
  15. I'm not sure Karen. I would try them and find out if your are after lacewing males.

Daz you are alwasy so sweet and willing to help anyone :fear "home brand eucalyptus disinfectant" anything that not eucalyptus smelling okay?? :(Laughing out loud): I'm not a fan of that smell. Since asking this I have found a cage cleaning in two pet shops (in a small bottle though :bluebudgie: ) and my health book says .... :(Laughing out loud): I just looked it up again and it's Chorahexidine! also called Aviclens, hibiclens, hibitane and Nolvosan.
  17. I can't really help this time my hen Freckle will do the same thing to me when I'm clipping up millet or other fun things for them like leaves. She doesn't hate me and is tame while sit on my finger and doesn't care what I do around and in the cage for other things. I just put it down of her wanting me to hurry up with it becuase she loves ripping into.

so we are down to two names. You have to give the white pied a disney type name to keep with the theme :bluebudgie: What about Peppamint for the normal green? Can be shortened to Peppa or Minty. edit-Disney names: Abu Baloo Rama Zazu Kala Terk Scrooge
  19. opps :bluebudgie: They are. Well what I was trying to say was look for ones with out the iris rings and they would be the young ones.
  20. :bluebudgie: Echo is the most outgoing of them all.

Welcome and Goose sound wonderful. As to letting him out once he is happy to stay on your finger while you move your hand about then it would be fine to let him out. Using a small room for training at first is a great step.
  24. Yeah I with Lovey Baking Soda and vinegar. They react together and go all bubbly :bluebudgie: I've used this to clean my bathroom before it works well.
  25. the first bit is right the males will be split but if not matched to another lacewing hen they will only have female offspring lacewings with a normal ino.
