nope I can't see them, I get the white square saying 'this image or video as been moved or deleted"
  2. :(Laughing out loud): :(Laughing out loud): I remember I read the post wrong the first time and thought it said the bird had a green head spot
  3. :(Laughing out loud): Yes I mean one clutch.
  4. smart idea also now that you have the roll once the sticky bit on that is gone you can save some cash and use some sticky tape around it to do the same job :budgiedance:

Show breeders do so in the middle of the year. But any time is fine if both hen and male are of age in in breeding contition. If you want to follow the nature breeding time that is normally in spring.
  6. woohoo Kirby ;D I can't wait to see the outcome from these two. Any luck with Ariel's eggs? or are they clear again.

    aww they all look great
  8. I thought Ivermectin was spot on treatment to the back of the neck or are there different way to put the meds on?? Poor little man but it sounds like you caught it super early.
  9. Pictures: We have this topic to help: http://forums.budgiebreeders.asn.au/index.php?showtopic=407 also when you see your photobucket album there is three lines of text under each picture. you want to click in the bottom one to get it all highlighted blue. Thenk press Ctrl and c to copy it then in your post here hit ctrl and v to paste it. Daz havn't you seen a yellow and green pied? Yellow head spot
  10. Aww great to see What is the name of this new one?
  11. you can never spend too much time gazing into an aviary Yes there are budgie dad out there that don't do the best of jobs in feeding and such, but if need be the hen can care for a clutch alone. You can also get dad that continue with raising a clutch if a mother dies or is lost. It's best if the hen is doing more work than normal to keep her at one round not two.
  12. ahh yes I thought if it there, but got carried away with the opaline info
  13. not only that but you might get a Double Factor spangle
  14. okay Just making sure there where no crossed wires there.
  15. okay first pictures really help when working out mutations. I'm not sure what you are meaning with the black marks. But yes she sounds like a pied, not sure if she is dominant or Recessive, and possible a grey green :/ do you mean on the back of the neck? there is green the same as on her belly? Could mean the gene opaline as well. As to blue feet yes this is normal, as are pink feet.
  16. thanks for the extra pictures I believe Beau need to move to my house for one But really I think he is a dominant pied Spangle Opaline. And possible a form of dilute as well for the palness of colour. I say opaline becuase you state about the blue (lavender) colour on the wings.
  17. :(Laughing out loud): thats cheating Daz!
  18. Hello my big boy Boy Rose and Harleys baby is ver interesting The head bars just seem to hit a line and stop at the back of the neck there. (He) does look sf spangle but that one feather sticking out looks like a normal, but with two spangle parents that can't happen. I wonder about a dilute gene as well.

:(Laughing out loud): and I thought marine was over excitable Love the titles.
  20. *Nerwen* replied to a post in a topic in Breeders Discussion
I understand you with the zoo thing And Rainbow Marine makes that same noise, once I hear that I know he is in the full swing of things
  21. I'm not talking about the one on the tree limb ( the grey pied) I'm meaning the one in the box with the babies. You can't really see the head but the bit you can looks yellowish.
  22. aww it's good to hear one was alright, that means there could be others, but it sounds like he was supper hungry.
  23. Stunning I think another shot of dad would really help, one with out the wash from the flash. Right any he could be anything from a pied to a dilute. Cloud is a Grey spangle. From what I can tell now you can get 50% spangles (either grey or blue) and 50% normals (grey or blue)
  24. Better speed them up daz Egg 2 is here for both of them, once again around 4 both where staying in the nests as if laying (they might have just been sitting but normally they stick a head out if I make a noise around them) so I left them be and checked again at 5 I have piccies that i'm uploading now and you will see that from the time I marked tooties egg and gotten the camera (all of three steps) she didn't want me messing in her box again and I could only just get her out of the way. such a good mummy. Pictures: Ringo's: Tooties:
