Greywing To Dilute ? Pairing
kaz is it possable that the chicks are cinnamon grey wing spangles and the others are just grey wing ????cinnamons Dunno Mate..........here's some photos....maybe someone can tell from these. im not up on my grey wing cinnamon genes but to look at in photo these only look to be diluted kaz i can not see cinnamon but you know your cinnamons ...is it possable that you only have grey wings / to cinn as the eyes still pink when they only split as you know Spangle tail defenently spangled and opaline but some look normal spangled full body grey wing will give a greyish tail feather is that pos other wize i know you can get cinnamon grey wings so their my guesses cant wait for out come

Breeding Pairs 2009
may not of been a infection dave but i guess you will not know this till you breed her again if it was then the same thing may reaccure due to cock mabe holding it as they were very intermate and feeding eachother personally i think it was some other cause but just if you do have it reacurre mabe think abuout having both birds tested and the new hen for an answer (as im sure you would)but im interested to know for myself what the cause of this may have been possable the mum just wasnt feeding them well enough and they just became weak she may of only let dad feed this meaning not enough crop milk ????i dont know does the male produce crop milk too?

Current Batch Of Budgie Babies
you make me smile again kazz this shows me my birds are good and that i will succeed with my challange ahead beky hen or not my birds will produce quality i always looked at genetics and then vishual but been doing bit of both to be safe of late may just add you are going places quickly your birds have improved massive since i joined last year the sight its good practace to any one looking at getting birds to see if you can veiw as many related birds possable be fore saying yes or no to a purchuse this helps to verafy if the birds genetics are potant or not sometimes the smaller not so good bird is the better bird so long as the genetic make up is their put with a nother geneticly ballanced bird out comes are usually always a welcomed suprize

What Mutation Is It

as you have cliped his wings i am unable to tell how ever do you know what colour his flights were and the tail feather is it black white or black and a white one also ?????- My Bird Fluff Is Gone . Rip.
you did so try your best rip fluff - Breeding Pairs 2009
so glad she was caught such a lovley hen i was wondering dave you say you think the chicks were getting a virus or infection so you think it was the hen who was passing it on is it possable the cock was the one who had the infection or virus ???? as if they were feeding each other mabe the both got it or mabe dad only had it as he looks like he was feeding well just i thought however i personally dont think it was that i think it was related to something else how old were the chicks when they did die i know the little one was weak and sickly looking after being all good but is it posable that mum feed new chick a bit more than the other chick overwelmed mabe ....which chick lived was it the second one hatched ??? anyway best of luck dave the albino and spangle are beautiful so and you have a few more this is good rezult for first try at show stock breeding for quality(if thats your aim)- Guess What? Guess What ? Guess What?
hi elise the breeding cage that you have the clamps on top off the box that are conected to the screws they actually turn in line with the wire to slip the box down off the cage for cleaning so thats how the clamp thing works k pm me if need b- Breeding Pairs 2009

They are in a separate breeding cage, I'm not actually colony breeding, and even if I was, I don't have another dominant pied..... , the only other cock I have is a cobalt normal. The mother is recessive pied presumably (no iris rings), if the chick is definitely DF dominant pied, the mother would have to be dominant pied as well...? The chick did have the white opaline down...... Now everyone's confused..... Dean_NZ - Thanks for the explanation about the potential for white chicks from 2 YF2 parents, I never really got that bit about there being SF & DF YF2 and how that breeds on... their is to explinations for this out come 1 the hen is to young but i dont think so she to me looks to be rec pied but ... and 2 she is a dominant pied hen from a domanaint pied / rec ped hen causing badley marked dom pie and holding the rec gene the iris rings dont always show also kazzy pointed something out to me today when questioning my own chicks mutation out comes she has come to a conclushion as i two agree with her that split opaline cocks get the white down as do split cin chicks get the plum eyes for first few days as we have norm cocks split for opaline who had white down in nest ..... just a thery at moment also hen is a gf sky blue and father mauve which explains the beautiful colours mum could be opaline as i had one for ages who never visually looked opaline but defenently was kaz only just explained to me that their is a way to tell its if the barring on head is broken going lenghth ways across from eye to eye like this - - - - - - insted of full bar with out brakes and mabe dad is df dom just heavly marked only another cluthch will tell the truth of the matter next time put mum with a normal split opaline split rec pie cock that way if you get a opaline cock and a few rec pieds you will have your awnser hope this all made sence pm me if you need more explained oh and if she has the broken barring she is defenently rec pie and dad yf2 mauve df dom this gives 100 percent dom chicks the new chicks look to me to be mabe comming out like harliquine breed opaline gf norms so mum probbly is rec dad may be split rec love to see chicks frount and back when feathered up as this would help me solve your mistry- Do You Name All Your Budgies
