What Do You Think About The Tail Less Wonder
okay i belive what your saying splat i just said that as i was looking to buy a cock bird and when inspecting him this same tail look it really did look like a tail growing from the end then another and another as the bit where it narrows had slight bit dry blood before thikening then back to thining i would not cull a bird like this specially if you know all back ground as you do quill mite is a option but you would think more birds would be supporting the same tail if this was the case possabl it could be lack protin like matt sugested do you think ???? mabe that one birds not eatting everything you offer can i ask whats the best thing to give birds whom lack in protin ??? mabe now its out splat it will grow back normal mate as as you said cant be moult if its one your own breed birds then you would of seen sighns in nest i didnt know it was one your own breed thought could had slight case cant adults catch slight case though if under weather which this guy does not look i dont know so i cant help i did read though that that look tail was due to fm in a bird so.... i dont buy birds that i see with that tail based on what i read but mabe i have passed up some good birds based on wrong info as i said earlier today i dont think books are much good they all have a diffrent thing for same question or diffrent awnser for same thing id breed him splat not a issue if he was my own breed as you said he is a good bird take a look under his wings at the end of feathers see if theirs any dry blood in the feather stems just where they come out of wing if so even the smallest thing mabe he got the fm viris doubt it but have a look flights dont need to drop if very mild its a form of cold isnt it i dont know anyways ....im out of this one as i dont know

Lacewing Chick
hi guys well shes in aviary after her first morning feed which is 630 am then she gets feed every hour so shes not dehidrated or hungry she sleeps inside in a washing barskit full of seed on floor in hope she will nibble she only did so once but never since she doesnt copy other chicks as id hoped i dont normally let my chicks in aviary just been putting oldest from all nests in their for the day in hope they show her how to eat its been a really usless event i must say lol they all enjoyed playing though so ... i bathed her today and she looks so much better i tryed to take pics but every time i took one this massive yellow arua surounded her and you cant actually see her looks like shes radioactive lol so i will try get pics tomorrow see if she stops glowing i will try not feeding her tonight her last feed was 830 pm shes due now and wanting one so i put her on her seed but she just looking at me like what the h e l l is this shes proning and chirping starting to get the narky hen aditude also to day even if i have to feed her for rest of her days shes to personality not to so... im thinking vet tripto see if he can tell me whats up if she makes it to 8 weeks still not eatting seeds shes only 5 weeks so bit more of a chance but will cut feeds back to morning then 10 am then 4 pm then 10 pm then 630 am so on see if that makes her want to crack the seed i will keep you informed

What Could I Get.
yes i agree with rip this hen seems to be dom /rec pied cock also /rec pied you say all chicks were pied bar one what was the one that was not pied as i would of said that she looked df dom but giving you got one not pied bird she can not be i have a df dom cin opaline pied / rec pied she throughs all sf doms and rec pieds every clutch uasually two rec pieds and the rest sf doms thats paired to a opaline /rec pied cock by way the one with iris ring looking cobalt but you say violet that bird looks to be opaline spangle pied patches on all of them are more visibly violet, than cobalt and last normal cock bird of clutch is a definite violet. and looks like my violets look in pics so yes id say violet looking at cheek patches also suggests this bird is violet okay i just ansewd my own question he was violet norm mm okay well she a dom/ rec pied im guessing spangled and if not well i think some one was firtile before she layed as this bird is opaline spangle hen dom pied sf violet whick meand you need a spangle to get it and cock must be / opaline

Getting Rid Of Moisture From Nest
lol i get edited quiet a bit well not so much now as now i just try my best to say things round a bout im sure most would take your honesty wrong mate but mainly due to most people cant deal with honest or bluntly stated answers fact is when you dont know whos on the other side of a name eg chockbreeder, yourself , rainman and theirs plenty more its hard to judge whos just saying stuff and whos got true breeding and bird experience eg everyone knows kaz and rip, nubbly ,daz and others alike breed show and know and if not sure they will find out but their is others whom just speak from books and books dont cut it from where i stand i prefer to get help from a truly experienced person in the field weather i agree or not think their to harsh or not well i decide that myself but i know that harsh or not realistically they would know better if you ask me honesty and directness is needed in this hobby as to many birds are being delt with by people who have no clue and they get away with stuff as no one wants to hurt their feelings well poor them think about the poor birds even myself im finding after years of breeding birds i still have no clue when it comes to show birds and really believe people shouldn't get into them unless a proper set up and intention is really deeply set in them i got the half of that but unfortunately i didnt get the right set up first my poor birds payed for it and still are paying for it as i slowly build around them very stupid but i really thought i had everything i needed and all the breeding knowledge i needed how wrong was i and i been breeding budgies for years and years now so much more comes with show breeding and housing feeding everything is so much more complex and time and cost consuming no one really realizes as thats not put out you really need to know a show breeder spend time as an aviary hand and see from their what goes on and then decide if its for you its a full on hobby not one for people whom get afended easily thats for sure pretty much need to be a duck i say

What Do You Think About The Tail Less Wonder
off topic for one min why is that sad i think your refering to fm chicks being kept alive or am i wrong just as i myself i would not keep a mop alive but fm birds i wont kill i wont breed them either i have one i actually brought from a breeder hes a older cock bird but not one his chicks have ever been afected im still not sure i want to use him he is flightless though not tail less id use a mild molter i guess but if rezults were not good as in tail less chicks id not usehim or her again they make great pets for children and adults a like if you were not refering to that then disregard my writing

My Budgies Are Dying
it does sound like cocci if they are very thin i would almost say yep but their are lots simular things and im not a vet you can call vet and get meds sent out express post they normally want to see a bird first i didnt read what state or country your from or town but im sure if you are willing to ring vets you could come up with something for now incase its megga not cocci give some applecidder vin in water and make sure you see them drinking as the may dehidrate the cidder regulates the gut levels place them in a room with the heater on 28 to 3o degree i find this much better than a heat lamp when more than one sick and if need be drip water on to beak let it roll in every hour so they dont die of dehidration if you dont have sulfa meds rice water will stop the diareha but you need to administer it to them they wont drink it freely not to much its thickish its about the same thikness as a thin gravy this sould get you through till morning where you must get to a vet or lose them all send a poo sample express post if you can with a note explaining symptoms and a atention ergent on frount and ring to conferm payment on a bank card if need be but dont delay

Chicks In Nest And 2009 Broken Caps Downward
thanks kaz their getting bigger and bigger also the chicks out nests this time are mostly really big thick birds makes it hard as some come out small and grow like wild fire others come big but really dont progress in length just their feather is beautiful and feather height above head mask ext all good i still dont really know what im looking for and club night showings arnt really helping me understand what im looking for as the birds are judged as we are in discussing things so and by end of night all birds get taken pretty quickly and everyone goes own way not really giving you a chance to ask what the person who judged them judged them one i am however really enjoying our club meetings of late their have been some changes and their really good changes im proud to be a member of this club and hope i can put in with my birds and assistance or ideas im going to be showing a few birds at our club show this march so more for fun as i dont belive any of my birds are really of showing standeds yet but want to partake for the experiance Could you ask if you could follow the judge around as he is judging and just listen ? im not to botherd kaz as i will ask when i feel more comphtable with everyone for now im just going to look at what birds placed where on club night and go to all shows i posabbly can get to by train and walking or train and bus or if anyones going to go to a show and has room for me i will ask
