  1. I hope all the eggs are fertile shannon. Good to see my favourite pair has 6 eggs. Showing signs of fertility?

Thankyou very much Elly. The babies have been eating grass as you can see.

Thats what I think also. You can see the yellow bleeding into the body colour making it seafoam green.

She looks very nice, looks yf blue yellowface spangle to me. Cant see if the wings are brown or black, if brown she is cinnamon
  7. What I do is. My avairy is already insulated, but I put a shadecloth over the top. I hose the roof every hour or so. Change the water every day and make sure the birds can swim in it, ie bird bath.
  8. I definitely would not put a cockatoo in with a budgie. Cockatoos bite like no other bird I've ever seen.

    That is excellent. Well done.
  10. Hi all pair 1 now has 4 eggs and pair 2 now has 3 eggs. Showing signs of fertility.
  11. What did you get from vetafarm? Yeah its amazing that a chick has all its feathers by 5 weeks old.
  12. Congratulations sailorwolf
  13. I've had some babies go to 4 months without losing their baby bars.
  14. I beleive broken cap is when a baby does not have all his bars and an unbroken cap is when a baby has all his baby bars.
  15. I will see if I can come to this one, I've been to one show their before. Had some very nice birds.
  16. I have done this once before also, I always run the water over my hand now before I spray the birds, or do anything with the hose really. I'm glad the ring necks are okay.
  17. Yes it is shannon update your thread now to.
  18. I have never seen a disepsner like that, My only advice is to try get another bird feeder. You can just use a lid or a dish or you can get the ones **liv** posted. I personally use open feeders for my birds.
  19. That is a very good deal Deb. I wish I could get a deal like that.
  20. Hi all. 3 eggs to pair , first egg showing signs of fertility. 2 eggs to pair 2, not old enough for me to tell if they are fertile or not.
  21. $12 each that is good, that is more than I get selling them privately.
  22. Hi I spelled ivermectin incorrectly. It is spelled IVERMECTIN
  23. Personally I find that green birds are the most common bird around my area, so their are lot more green birds for sale. I would pay the same for a green bird that I would for a blue bird. It depends on the buyers colour preference. Do you sell your birds to the pet shop dragonx? I've enquired to a few places and the most they pay is like $3 each. Then you see them advertised the next day for $60 handtamed rare budgies.
