  1. I just checked on her, she's deffantly going to lay. Will she sit on the egg? Should I give her a box or somthing to lay in? These questions sound very ameuture-ish
  2. I think thats a very creative idea, not only do they have to work for there food when they are used to the different colour and shapes they'll a small and very fun game to play. I may take this into consideration.
  3. Nearly two days ago I put my breeding pair George and Lumina back together without a nest box, I did this simply because Lumina look a bit down in the dumps not sick just a little depressed. And as soon as George entered her cage she arched her back and they mated several times then eventually she got fed up with George and began attacking him because he was constantly wanting to mate. So I ended up sepperating them, she is as happy as ever now. But I've noticed this morning large poops and egg butt, she's going to lay and I am wondering on the fertility. I dont really want her to have any more chicks because she had a large clutch of six this april and last october she had a clutch of four. I know there's only a possiblity of one chick which I wouldnt mind. But I don't want to just throw the egg away after she lays it. It would kill me if it was fertile, I'd also carry it with me everyday that there may have been life in it....
  4. Good luck
  5. Okay cool, just checking

Welcome to the forum, you have so many pretty budgie's
  7. I think he's just playing but just wanted to make sure. He has a pony bead toy in his cage that I made. Here's a picture I have moved it since then in a toy rotation, it's higher up in the the cage now and it's sort mid-lenght with a perch, he holds it in his beak some how even though it weighes a ton. And he wraps the toy around the branch twice. And I un-wrap it and a few minutes later he does it again. So I think he's just playing though but I just wanted to make sure. And can anyone tell me if Ollie can talk from watching this video??

Here's another video of Ollie chattering to himself. I hope he speaks in this one because while I was recording I heard him talking... There's also music in the background because he only talks with music on and only to his favourate songs. I hope it works

  13. They are all georgess, I'm sorry too hear about Henrietta
  14. She's my only dog I've every had, and she's been a huge part of my life. I am so worried we're taking her to the vets tomorrow, but I can't even think about if it is somthing serious. She's eight years old and arthritic so that only makes me more scared.... This is her.
  15. Congrats Vicky she is absolutly a cutie pie!
  16. It's a azalea bonsai tree
  17. I was just wondering if Bonsai trees are safe for budgie's because I have resently bought one and I let my budgie's out to fly every other day. If they aren't I can quite easyly move it out the room for a few moments while I have the budgie's out.
  18. They All look like hens to me, except the ressecive pied I can't see very well.
  19. Yes, I hope that I helped in a small way.
  20. Sorry to ask again but is top one defantly a cock??
  21. OH MY!!! That's terrible I thought mine were bad, exsept it was the cock who plucked them out of fustration of not being able to mate with the hen, they had blood on them too. I do hope they get better I was so shocked when I saw the images.
  22. I have two hen sisters in together they also squabble but thats it I just make sure there is a least always two of everything to limit the fights. Sometimes they attempt to mate with each other which is odd... And a few months ago one of the sisters safe the others life after she became eggbound, I think they are so good together. Before I had three sisters in together but then two of them fought quite agressively over the eldest so she was sold to a friend. But I surrpose it was an uneven number so It was bound to be unbalenced.
  23. He's sooo good, I'm jelous my boy Ollie can't speak that clear, he's only 5 months though
  24. I ment greywing... Sorry
  25. I can't,honestly I'de love to but I'm overflowing with Hen's and I have a lot of trouble with hen's laying infertle eggs for ongoing periods of time. And I'm 16 living with my parents and I'm not sure if they'll allow me having three more budgie's when I already have seven.
